COL Torres has proven that you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but an old dog can still show the puppies how the job is done :D He returned to active duty an as an incredibly active pilot, flying more than most in the wing do, to taking over as Inferno Commander, doing everything in his power to make Inferno great once again (it was in a terrible state). He continues to fly like an insane ewok, flying more than every other Challenge pilot (except maybe Ice). Inferno is slowly but surely regaining its former glory with a few active pilots quite active all thanks to Torres, he writes squadron reports on time every week which is more than i can say for most, he does all his commander duties with such speed & determination that can be rarely found in the TC today, he takes part in all Squadron/Wing/Battlegroup competitions as well as several larger ones such as the SSL which i see Inferno doing quite well in. It is with great pleasure i request this medal for Torres, he is a valuable member to the Challenge, the Battlegroup and the Fleet. We would truly be lost without him. Nice to still see another of the 0ld sk00l Chal boys showing everyone how the job is done.

Torres is one of the best pilots and men i have ever had the privilege of knowing. He has been around longer than most in the TC and he continues to be more active than most. He manages to fly heaps, much more than most on the ship, is active on the message boards and takes part in as many comps as possible. It would be a crime not to reward such devotion to the Challenge.
