Savageaz finished as the top pilot in ASF Supremacy Competition 8, in this time he flew a staggering 429 single player missions, he also participated in 49 multiplayer matches and completed 10 IWATS Courses. Sav was an invaluable asset to Valkyrie Squadron and the Grey Wolf during the competition.

Recc: Another solid month from Savage this month. I'm not sure about what you'll do either way with this recc....but here's what I think. I would like to recommend another Bronze Star of the Empire to Sav, although he did not fly as many battles as usually is 'required' to earn a Bronze Star, he has completely flown through the whole X-Wing Alliance SP game...something I can vouch for because I myself sent him a copy of the game. If this is allowed to be taken into account as activity, I would say this combined with what else he's flown would most definitely qualify him for another Bronze Star. If not, a PC is perfectly acceptable for this level of activity if the std XWA SP is not taken into account.
COM's Note: CPT SavageAz has earned the title of COM protector, and flew pretty much everything...a BS indeed! For an extraordanary pilot! Congrats Azzy!!! ;)

I'd like to recommend this medal for Sav, as he was the only Krayt pilot who completed the free mission, which was used for the Krayt v Demon Comp.
The comp was cancelled, but seeing he was one of only 2 who completed it(1 Demon member did too) I'd like to commend him for it with this medal. He's only been in the squad a few days but has already shown his worth as someone to rely on in competitions. Thanks Az!

CM SavageAz recruited a new member to the Wing and did also updates to the Squadron website. He found also the time to fly a few rounds and showed his activity on IRC and on the Message Boards.

LCM Savageaz serves now since 3 months as FL of Flight 2 in Inferno. His activity during his time brought him a Silver Star and 2 Bronze Stars. He is not only active as pilot, but also doing an excellent job by moderating and running the Inferno Squadsite. During his time in Inferno he nearly completed all available IWATS courses. His IRC and MB activity is above all duty. He is in permanent contact with his Comrades and even helping them as good as he can, in all situations.

Within four months, LCM Savageaz has flown well over 350 missions. This is not the extent of his achievements, however. He has taken over 11 IWATS courses during that time, and has also developed websites for both his Squadron (Inferno) and his own flight. Perhaps his most impressive month came during January, when he doubled his FCHG points in a period of two weeks. He also takes part in MP matches, and is active on his Squadron’s message board and mailing lists.
Flying alone does not necessarily make a good officer, and LCM Savageaz is a good example of this. His flying is superb, but he is also active in other ways. He developed the websites mentioned above while his joystick was disabled, proving that he finds ways to keep active in the TC. No one asked him to create these sites; he did so on his own initiative and out of a desire to help his Flight and Squadron. Throughout his TC career, LCM Savageaz has been a driving force in his Squadron; one that carries over to his Wing. He sets an example, and then develops tools like the websites, to help others reach his example. He also attempts to improve his knowledge by taking IWATS courses, showing that he has the desire and capability to advance in the TC. He motivates and encourages his fellow Squadron members in a way that some CMDRs fail to do, and he has not yet assumed such an official leadership position. Overall, his performance comes very close to the ‘ideal pilot’ that we all as CMDRs dream of leading. Such initiative and drive is extraordinary in these days of “just getting by, †and deserves to be rewarded and acknowledged by the award of the Silver Star of the Empire.

LT Savageaz flooded my inbox with Pilot files, it isn`t only a high quantity, but also a high quality what he submits. He got for the first 18 Battles in 1 week already a Bronze Star, an ISM for completing the first 10 Battles of TIE and a CoB for passing the 30 FCHG points. LT Savageaz is already far behind the 200 FCHG points. When a pilot passes the 150 FCHG points, he got in my old Squadron a Palpatine Crescent, I would like to go on with this tradition. LT Savageaz is all around active, he is motivated and enjoys the flying. His performance is outstanding
COM's Note: Although awarded a BS earlier in November for flying 18 battles in one week (!), Savageaz continued to fly at a high rate, and has at least 18 battles flown since that have not been recognised. We feel that this level of activity more than deserves a Bronze Star.

AWESOME ACTIVITY! 19 TC *battles* in one week, phenomenal message board activity, mega-emails... what more can you ask from a Flight Member!
