Not only is he one of the most active Single Player pilots aboard the ISD II Warrior and among the other members of his Squadron, he also offers help to all levels of the TIE Corps. Without his help this years Raise the Flag competition, the biggest competition the TIE Corps has to offer, would have been impossible to host. He created, updated and hosted the website for all results of the Raise the Flag in a more than perfect fashion during the whole competition. Above this he was able to archive second place in this years Raise the Flag with an adorable score of 1029. Beside these activities General Pickled Yoda is always one of the first to volunteer for any work that needs to be done. For all his dedication, loyalty and effort he puts into the TIE Corps, I think General Pickled Yoda deserves being rewarded with an Imperial Cross. Recommended by: Frodo March for competition ISD Warrior Trivia 2014       08/17/2014 Grand Order of the Emperor COM's Recommendation: During the Raise the Flag Competition GN Pickled Yoda flew more in a month than most TC pilots would in their entire careers. To be more precise, he scored 1850 points for first place in RTF, which consisted of 871 missions, with 117 mission high scores and 11 battle high scores, 21 LoCs and the bonus points for fiction and SP. In the history of the TIE Corps, few pilots have flown 871 or more missions in a month... And I'm ready to put my hand on the fire, and bet that none of them had all those high scores numbers while they did it. What makes that activity all the more important is that Yoda has been making a major difference for Flagship competitions since the days of ASF:SC. He loves to participate in them, and he loves to win them. He's a huge reason the Grey Wolf won several times, and he's the main reason the Warrior won this one. Yoda helped his Squadron plan exactly what missions to fly, so that they could fly more and faster. Yoda coordinated the efforts of the Warrior and made us all better, either directly or by his example. In addition, Yoda made the website, and helped us get the rules straight before the competition. He never complained once, and showed us all how somebody wins with grace and respect. He is a shining example of the dedication, and the attitude we need in a TIE Corps pilot. Also, Yoda is a General, and he's third overall in FCHG for the TIE Corps. He's occupied a CS position before, and he's proven to the Emperor's Hammer that he's a solid contributor. There's technically nothing left for Yoda to achieve as a line pilot, but he still does it, and he did it better than all of us... again. A GOE would be a logical reward for someone who worked this hard, and achieved this much in his career. Without Yoda our competition would not have been, quite possibly, the best we've all participated in, ever. So, to recapitulate: For his amazing activity, his leadership and coordination for our ship which lead us to victory, his sustained excellence as a TC pilot over his entire career, an outstanding attitude, for making the RTF website and helping the admirals make the competition, AND because there's simply no other award that feels right... I strongly believe General Pickled Yoda deserves the Grand Order of the Emperor, and I humbly ask you to award it to him. TCCOM's Comments: There's little more I can add to a recommendation like this, but I'd like to share my perspective of things. Since it was created in 2006, the Raise the Flag competition has always been an incredible effort to be made by the TIE Corps leadership, and in particular the TIE Corps Commander. Since the first of these competitions, Yoda was there to assist the TCCOM with this enormous task, by developing website tools for the competition. This time, it was not different, and the tools were taken many steps forward, in such a way that they will be a permanent addition to the TIE Corps database. I am very certain to say that I would have not lived to see July if it wasn't for Yoda. His dedication in creating a RtF website that was so important to my work is something that I can't even begin to thank him for, but I'd like to try. And the most impressive thing of it all is that he managed to be a key asset to running the competition, while displaying a performance that was completely unprecedented. 1850 points...I'm without words...it's a score that would dwarf the majority of the *ships* that participated in past RtFs. A Gold Star being awarded for one month's worth of activity is a very difficult thing to see, and Yoda certainly would already have achieved that amazing award, if he just did his own thing, earning points like there's no tomorrow. But there's more to it here than that. There is more than just going out of your way to help others. There is more than assisting a commanding officer with his tasks. There is even more than going beyond one's call of duty. What we saw was selfless devotion, and blatant pure love to a club, to a group of people that mostly have never met, and still are always there to assist one another whenever necessary. I'd like to thank you, General Yoda, for making running the best competition in the recent and not-so-recent history of the TIE Corps possible. There is no better way that I can do that but to endorse your COM and also the SOO's recommendation, and approve the award of your first Grand Order of the Emperor, which is something I am honored and proud to do. Even ignoring the contribution to be factored in from the last week of Feb Yoda has managed to impress throughout the month. 46 mission HS and 6 battle HS speak for themselves even amongst a total of 316 missions. His determination to secure SP Ace was marked, backed by high comms, and an increasing MP presence. Another GN with nothing to prove he is nonetheless setting the standard for the fleet to follow and I have no hesitation in recc’ing a BS at the very minimum, but an SS if such is permitted. SOO's review: And you say that General Yoda came back from Reserves just two months ago? LIES! He must have been around for a decade or so it seems to me. How could it be that the guy managed to amass more than 300 missions flown, including 46 mission highscores and 6 battle highscores, 10 Legions of Combat coming from victories on Star Conflict, an IWATS Course featuring a perfect score, and still managed to perfectly fulfill his duties as Flight Leader? Recommended by: Jarek La'an       12/07/2006 Silver Star of the Empire I dont know where to begin with regards to this reccomendation except by saying first of all that no-one i have encountered has ever been more worthy of receiving a Silver Star for their activity. He has been responsible fror recruiting no fewer than 3 of Green, including COL Brucmack.He has flown 51 missions achiveing no fewer than 9 mission and 4 battle high scores, as well as placing 2nd overall in the FW comp after contributin gfx, fiction, and 76 hours (!!!) of flight-time, completing 421 missions and scoring over 2200 points for the Redemption. His MB and e-mail activity combined number over 200 posts/messages this month and he has been constantly active in assisiting me and providing strategic planning during the comp. He has completed 9 IWATS, acting 6 of them, and been awarded no fewer than 23 LoCs for his part in 35 PvP duels and other EH MP events. He has proven himself again as the finest officer with whom i have ever served and provided such unbelieveable service and dedication that only a Silver Star can truly reflect his contribution of this one short month. CMDR Comments - I can't say much more than ive put in the recc., his efforts have single-handeldy guaranteed the Redemption's place as 2nd vessel of the fleet, only being outflwon by a single man, and proving active over every single possible division. COM Comments - what should I add to this? La'an allready counted out all the reasons, I only can give him right. Yoda hae more than deserved this high award. I never recced a SS before, because I never felt someone deserved it, but in this case it is more than deserved. BGCOM: After reviewing (and when more awake) I must concure with the above assesment. Pickled Yoda is one of the most deserving members of the fleet for the Silver Star of the Empire. I have never known someone who has worked as hard as this to better the squadron (as Executive Officer of Green), the Wing, and the Ship as this man has done in this past month. This is a battle that the Monks have worked on together. 4. Monk Code - IRC Script. A script that allows members of IntOrg to speak to one another without the fear of anyone knowing what they are talking about. A very useful tool. Also useful for them to talk about their Commodore without him knowing it. 5. "The Rogue Dark Brotherhood Chronicles Part 1: Prelude to Rebellion" XvT DB 11. Another joint battle the Monks! 6.
