From CMDR Cray Mikalen: I would like to recommend that CM Gistenjunge receive the Imperial Security Medal for his actions in October. Besides winning the "Lazy Pilot" competition and flying for the TO's "Kill em quick" competition, Gist was also a regular on IRC and stayed in consistent e-mail contact. What stands out to me the most however, is that he's worked to inspire his fellow pilots to be active. He sent out a very motivational email to the squadron encouraging them to find the time to participate in the events we've had going on. This is a fine example of an officer who actually wants the TC to be a fun place for everyone.

Reason: Since Bodo was removed as CMDR, Gist bit the bullet and took the ACMDR spot without even being asked. He has completed reports on time, and to an impressive standard, and has gone above the call of his duties as a FM to try and inspire some activity in the squadron. He actually achieved this, his continued pleading prompted Ace Fighter to apply for Red CMDR and Kasan Moor began to use the email system again. He even flew his monthly MP match and won, what more can I say?

COM Recommendation: CPT Gistenjunge now serves in Tau Squadron, but I wanted to be sure that he was properly awarded for his service as CMDR of Viper Squadron, and for his long standing activity and dedication to the Intrepid and the ASF. Truly one of the most active MP pilots the ASF has had in a very long time! His service to the Intrepid was impressive and therefore I request that he be awarded the Bronze Star as recognition of that activity and service to the ISD Intrepid! Recommendation: LT Gistenjunge's activity record for April pretty much says it all. He stepped up to assist the Wing in MP Competitions, and while at first losing most of his early matches, he quickly turned the tables on his opponents and has become one of the most effective MP pilots within Wing XIV! He currently leads the entire Wing in the ASF-SC IV in points for his activity and dedication to helping the ISD Intrepid win this competition!
