Joined the academy on Carida at 17, and was soon shipped out to the Aurora sector due to his abilities.

Became great friends with the commander of Nu Squadron, Exar Khaland, when he bumped into him in a corridor. While on patrol, found an escape pod containing a young boy by the name of Nexus, and befriended this boy. Nexus followed in his example and joined the academy.
