Raised on the streets of Coruscant it wasn't long until his knack for thievery and deception coupled with a creative mind got him the attention of a local pirate gang. He was adopted into the group and found a mentor in it's leader Captain Jark Kronar. He continued to stay with the gang and soon learned to fly their fighters in the daring raids that kept them supplied with booze, wimminz, credits, and the adrenalin fixes.

Significant events of adulthood:

After the death of Jark, Ras Kronar took over leadership of the group and brought it to even bigger heights. At it's height they were the scourge of the Erkna system and their name only whispered. Of course that level of activity enevitably brought the attention of the Imperial Navy. One day the luck of the group ran out and the Imperials caught up with them and all but annihilated the group. Ras Kronar was one of the few survivors. He went through a long series of different kinds of interrogations before the Empire decided that he was suited to be accepted into the navy as a fighter pilot.

Alignment and attitude:

After joining the Empire Kronar stopped drinking grog which was the mainstay of the pirate group and so he's not quite as brash as he once was. Instead he's taken up drinking milk (to excess some would say). However when someone rarely conjurs up a mug of grog Kronar can't resist and so will revert to his former ways. Fortunately the recipe for grog isn't well known and major disasters have thus been avoided.
