Recommendation from CMDR/COL Zosite: Colonel Daniel Bonini not only mantained, but even improved his fair activity of last month participating in as many competitions as he could, in adittion to his usual tasks of Flight Member on Tempest. As such a FM his communication with his CMDR and Squadron comrades is just what any CMDR would dream about, always at hand when needed and with an unbeatable response time, not to mention his detailed FM reports where he's always trying for his CMDR to be well updated in all activity the TC database doesn't automatically CC him. And as the competitions-addict pilot he is, he participated in our Tempest-only "On the Verge of Epic" where he did his best to complete TIE-TC 234... to no avail because the battle cannot be completed due to a nasty bug he found at mission 12. Anyways, he did splendid and he could have got several HSs if the battle would have been right; in the end, the only thing I could give him was my recognition and thanks for his participation. Then he also participated in "TACcy Speed Test" being maybe one of the 2 or 3 pilots who still give a damn for such an interesting competition (even myself couldn't find the time to participate in the last installments). And finally, he has submitted 2 of the requested battles for "Operation Serpents Sortie" Fleet-wide competition; battles that I'm sure they contain Highscores, which will be proven as soon as they're BSFd in days ahead. More importantly! He did his best to help the rest of the Fleet in completing TIE-TC 184, a battle by Colonel Beef, which is almost as saying an excellent battle by an excellent battle creator, yet still perfectly capable to pull out the worst from anybody due to its playability.

Not a good month for good old Colonel Dan. After careful examination of his ATR I found that he only... flew 6 missions, ALL of them highscores let alone the battle highscore itself... participated in all available competitions, including those of Tempest Squadron, those of Wing X and also the Fleet-wide ones like "TACcy Speed Test" and "Dempsey's Movie Mania", having won "TACcy Speed Test" and "Aftermath of TIE" flying ones... helped his CMDR in the building of a new website for Tempest Squadron the best he could, sending over all his old reports from the time when he was Tempest CMDR and also providing quite useful information on Tempest History, past CMDRs and former honoured members... sent all his FM reports in time and with the maximum detail... no, definitely not a good month for him since I still miss a thousand more highscores at his side plus 100 more missions and the cure for cancer. Sincerely, Sirs, with such levels of activity I cannot do anything but to reccomend him to be awarded a much deserved Imperial Security Medal.

I wish to recommend Dan Bonini (#2524), the Wing Commander of Wing X, the Gold Star of the Empire. He has performed his duties well above and beyond those of his rank and position. He is an officer that I am very impressed with. He adapts and works well with his people. He is a fine leader and does his best to ensure that his people are well cared for. He promotes activity and has managed both the wing and the ship on his own. Before the previous Challenge Comodore was removed and replaced, Dan was there to keep the Ship running in proper working order. Since Coranel has been seriously injured, he has again stepped into the position of Comodore and done his best to maintain the proper workings of his ship. He manages his squadron commanders well. He has been a communication asset for me as well. He goes out of his way to make sure that everyone is doing thier part and does this admirably. He has the most active ship in the battle group and is constantly reminding them of competitions and ways to participate.
From Me: I strongly concur with this assesment of Daniel Bonini. He has in essence run and kept together the ISD Challenge, unified the crew and made a good experience for the members, going above and beyond that which a normal WC normally wouldn't do. I Strongly recommend this award be issued as well.

Daniel Bonini
since his appointment two months ago has devoted all his time and dedication to the wing. He is example of who WC should be. Daniel won't allow any details escape his attention, and he always keeps his finger on the pulse. It's not problem for him to discover a clone, or write MSEs for squadrons which don't have CMDR. He seems to know profile of each pilot in Wing X.
Daniel is always willing to help his subordinates and keeps his superiors always informed. He also makes commodore's work much easier.
LC Daniel Bonini belongs to very rare "flying flags", he keeps flying to show example to his wingmates, and to tell the truth, he is good at it. Daniel is most reliable person I have ever worked with and working with him is a pleasure.
Since he wasn't rewarded for his tremondous amount of work during last months, I would like to award him with Bronze Star of the Empire. It's small award for a person, lack of which would make Wing X fall apart and who devotes all his life to Challenge and TC in general.

I would like to take a moment to recommend LC Daniel Bonini (#2524) a Silver Star of the Empire for his continued work as one of the finest commanders in the Emperor's Hammer fleet. Daniel took over Tempest almost exactly one year ago, not long before I first came into the fleet myself. My impression of him was an excited, hardworking pilot who was frustrated by a lousy squadron. And let's face it, nobody did much of anything in Tempest at this time last year. But Daniel never got frustrated or lost hope.
By the time I took over Cyclone, Daniel had built Tempest into one of the best squadrons in Wing X through his persistence and reliance on Impulse, an excellent recruiter. Tempest quickly became Cyclone's top challenger month after month, first doggedly pursuing Cyclone in the standings in a close Wing X Domination Championship, then coming oh so close to claiming the TCBGCOMs Own award during ECR VII. Khadgar very nearly gave Tempest the TCCOM's Own award for September, and they certainly would have deserved it.
Now, as we reach January, I can only think that I'm a very lucky COM to have Daniel working for me. He's still enthusiastic, Tempest is still active, and his squadron will surely be at the forefront of the Challenge's charge toward greatness. For his year of outstanding, hard work and overall excellence, I would like to recommend Daniel a Silver Star of the Empire.

Between his recruiting and his flying, Daniel is a perfect flight leader and XO. He has flown a considerable amount of missions this month, has helped recuit one pilot to the Challenge & helps me in my commanding duties.
I'd be lost without him as a pilot, XO & mate.

Reason given for request: From his CMDR: Daniel frickin' flies his ass off. I love it! He pulled in two more mission high scores this month. When he came off of leave a couple days ago, he had another tfr ready and waiting for me. He's great with activity, and I can't wait to get some flying comps going with other squads to whoop some ass. I'd like to reccomend him for a PC.
Theres not much else i can say here other than confirm what Chris said, Daniel is one of his best & most active pilots. He makes his CMDR really proud to have him in Tempest and i am extremly proud to have him in the wing.

Daniel appears to be on fire upon rejoining Tempest, completing several battles and frees & he has also gained several high scores.
He takes part in wing comps, maintains a high online presence and keeps constant activity week in, week out.
He is a fine pilot and officer and makes his Squadron Commander & Wing Commander proud to have him on the ship.

LCM Daniel Bonini - Daniel has been flying a substancial number of missions, he is a top notch pilot. He has gotten some high scores and his a treat to have as a member of the squadron. I have not spoke with him, but anyone that can fly that much and that well must be a strong member of the TC. I would recommend some sort of recognition for LCM Bonini for his flying prowess and the quantity of flying that he has done.
