During June and Raise the Flag, GN Gilad Pellaeon served Theta Squadron and the ISDII Warrior with distinction by flying 234 SP missions that led to Theta finishing in second place among the squadrons (although retaining the title of TCCOM's Escort Squadron) and the ISDII Warrior triumphing once more. GN Gilad Pelleaon has always been a strong competitor in Raise the Flag, but this year he really turned up the heat. With a fourth place finish in the individual standings earned by generating 1328 points, he greatly contributed to Theta Squadron remaining the TCCOM's Own Escort Squadron for the third competition in a row and the Warrior remaining the TIE Corps Flagship for its third year. CMDR: Gilad remains a steadying influence and ever-present during discussions regarding squadron direction. I am very happy to note his increased flight activity and the frequency with which he is to be found acting as my SC wingman, earning a fantastic 49 LoCs during the month. He has little to prove and has already reached GN but continues to push himself to set a good example as FL.
SOO's review: Good old Gilad is there fulfilling his duties as Flight Leader and I must say: leading by example with no less than 49 Legions of Combat coming from his victories on Star Conflict, where he's helping The Emperor's Hammer to regain its deserved hype among the online gaming community, long forgotten since the times of The Zone. Gilad has distinguished himself as a well organized and dedicated commander. He has consistently reported for his squadron since gaining command and advocated for his pilots heavily to ensure they are properly rewarded for their efforts. Upon my assignment as TCCOM he was the first (and as yet only) commander to supply MSE's that were pending review and made sure his pilots were taken care of first and foremost.

I realize that Gold Stars are rarely given out other than for directly working for a Command Office, but I'd like to come forth with a recommendation nonetheless.
The officer in question is Gilad Pelleaeon, the Commodore of the Grey Wolf. Many people with Gilad's length of service have won this award, but it seems to have eluded him. Gilad has dabbled in every aspect of activity during his faithful service as a flag officer.
On the administration front, he submits regular reports to start. Secondly, he maintains careful records of Grey Wolf activities. This was invaluable after the database crash. Gilad was quickly able to submit a full Grey Wolf roster, and aided Grey Wolf pilots and flag officers in getting pilot profiles updated with accurate details.
On the communications front, Gilad maintains a lot of contact through the Message Boards. He also frequently makes himself available over IRC, AIM and MSN for pilot and flag staff contact.
Gilad also engages in a lot of flying activity. I still see a number of BSFs from him. He also has done a fair amount of Multiplayer flying over his tenure, including at WoWs. I appreciate the example he sets.
On top of those, Gilad does a number of other things, including running and participating in competitions and he's also made efforts to recruit by mailing Reservists. Once again, I appreciate everything he's done, and I think he's earned this special award.

Continued loyalty and activity within the TIE Corps. I was surprised to learn that Gilad has never been awarded this medal before. Gilad has been active with the Grey Wolf for many years, serving diligently in the commissions given to him, as with his current duties as Commodore. Gilad is extremely meticulous with paperwork, filling out excellent reports and other documents such as the massive Grey Wolf scoring sheet for the recent ASF:SC competition. Gilad is active in many facets of the TIE Corps. He is involved in flying battles, flying Multiplayer matches, communicating over IRC and other programs, communicating over Message Boards, and numerous other activities. His recent leadership in the ASF:SC was superb, and it is a pleasure to have Gilad on my staff.

For his outstanding work as one of the best, if not the best Wing Commander in the Fleet. Gilad runs multiple monthly competitions that are not only fun, but have large groups of pilots participating. On top of this, he has spearheaded a recruiting drive that has taken this ship from 38 pilots four months ago, to 61 pilots now. For his outstanding work for the ISD Grey Wolf over the past two months of service as a Wing Commander. Gilad took over the wing at 37 members and has propelled membership through a series of recruitment competitions to 45 members (second largest in our fleet).
On top of his normal BSFing, flying, and mIRC activity, Gilad has also build the ISD Grey Wolf website and supplied it with information reguarding the ship.
Gilad has also taken part in multiple online meetings with CMDRs and his Commodore.
He has gone above and beyond the call of duty over the past 2 months. His outstanding service should be rewarded.
