Vice Admiral Astin's performance as the Strategic Operations Officer has been admirable in the past two months. His support and oversight of the daily activities of the TIE Corps have allowed the Admiralty Board to concentrate on the TIE Corps restructure. What is more, his constructive comments and ideas were imperative to the said restructure, providing the Admiralty members with a different point of view. Therefore, I recommend a Silver Star of the Empire to Vice Admiral Astin.

The DEAN has done an excellent job in difficult circumstances, having had to handle the restructure and rebuilding of the entire IWATS alongside reshaping the entry and training system, all from multiple sources. To date 13 of 26 courses are back online after several months of effort - for this massive labour so far I would like to reccomend Astin for a SS - his job is by no means finished but of such a scale that every major step should be recognised.

Recommendations: A PC should be in order. COMs Comment: He flew 61 Missions total. Astin was also very often seen in IRC. It was onyl a short trip for him in Blue, he is now the new TO. A PC is the right award for him. Congatulations and good luck with your new position!
