In his second tour as Kappa KMDR, COL Ulrich Drachen led his squadron with distinction. His recruiting efforts led to Kappa becoming a full 12-pilot unit that went on to claim second place among the squadrons in Raise the Flag 2016 with a remarkable 100% participation rate. Throughout his command, Kappa pilots have routinely been among the most engaged and responsive from the Warrior, which I attribute to Drachen's constant encouragement and attention. After placing fifth in the individual standings of Raise the Flag 2016 and leading Kappa to its highest finish yet with 100% participation from its pilots, LC Ulrich Drachen has a lot to be proud of. A lot of those 1026 points came from grouping up with other TIE Corps pilots to churn out missions, which was pretty great to see as the competition unfolded. Along with a combat rating increase to Ace 1st, Drachen branched out and flew enough single player to earn four FCHG rank increases (Dragoon through Knight). Throughout the month, Drachen was an outstanding KMDR for Kappa and an inspiring presence for the entire ship, as befits our Warrior of the Year. For his contributions during June, I recommend that LC Ulrich Drachen be awarded the Gold Star of the Empire.

CMDR's Assessment: Ulrich Drachen was the star of MP in RtF, leading the whole Fleet in activity, while also being active, motivating and supporting fellow squadmates. His spirit was able to lift the squadron's overall score to another level from last year. His contributions clearly exceeded the levels a Palpatine Crescent would require, therefore I recommend him to receive the Bronze Star.
COM's Note: I think that Ulrich easily earned a Silver Star of the Empire for his efforts during the 2015 Raise the Flag competition. His motivation was unparalleled for the duration of the competition. He not only was our best MP pilot with 190 LoCs and 36 LoSs, winning the MP Bonus competition for the team, he also was a great help for his CMDR keeping Kappa motivated throughout the comp. I'm very glad to award CPT Drachen this Silver Star.

CM Starkillerny's first month of command was a great success. He's created no less than 8 competitions since taking command, and showed a level of enthusiasm that is simply exemplary. It is evident that he is 100% commited to running Kappa. He also actively recruits and helps manage the TC's Star Conflict group, in addition to earning 20 Legions of Combat over the month. For this activity, but more so for his efforts as CMDR, I'd like to recommend the Palpatine Crescent.

Another good month for LCM Starkillerny. He fulfills his FL duties up to perfection, found the time to fly 5 hours of Star Conflict MP matches that led to 18 victories. The freshly promoted LCM Starkillerny is a permanent source of MP matches. Even though he's been on leave during a big part of February and he just took over the Flight Leader position of Gamma Flight 2, he still managed to fly an impressive 54 SC MP victories. For this I'd like to recommend him for a Palpatine Crescent.

CMDR's recommendation: LCM Starkillerny has shown an outstanding amount of activity throughout the month of January, flying 138 MP matches, winning 80 of them, answering all Gamma trivia questions, showing a remarkable amount of e-mail activity and besides all this helping out others wherever he can. For his efforts I recommend LCM Starkillerny for a Bronze Star of the Empire.
SOO's review: Granted, recently promoted Lt. Commander Starkillerny shines as a new rising star within the ranks of Gamma Squadron as one of the best pilots I've ever seen when it comes to multiplayer performance. I've been informed by the Combat Operations Officer that his feats and those by others like him managed to drive the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet back to the spot it deserves as one of the best (if not THE best) Star Wars online gaming club on the multiplayer scene. And among all those TIE Corps pilots involved in such an amazing accomplishment, Lt. Commander Starkillerny was the best, as he clearly demonstrated when he got 1st place in 'MP Ace of the TIE Corps' competition last January. If it would be only that... but no! He's also very participative on squadron-level competitions like 'Gamma's Trivia' and 'GoEP', not to mention one of the first names coming to mind on Fleet communications through our mailing list. Therefore, for all his feats to date and the efforts he put on achieving them, I hereby approve his CMDR's recommendation for him to be awarded the Bronze Star of the Empire.
