Since is appointment along with mine this officer has performed as a hard working team member, a good friend, and as a leader along side with me. I am proud to call him a "partner" more than anything else. Though our office is still a dictatorship, when two officers of like minded ideals combine there is little to no need to even consider a chain of command when working together, as the work is of the same concept and creative value. Its been a long time since I was excited to work with someone, and Mark is definantly a brilliant guy that has assisted this office greatly already and Im glad we bumped into each other prior to my appointment. In addition to this, some exact things he has done to warrant this award are as follows. Prior to my recent LOA Mark was responsible in Spam Removal, creation and updating several (to many to list) articles on the wiki. Upon the nearing due date of my daughter I went on LoA and presented the EH with my choice of leaving Mark as Acting Logistics Officer. During this period of time Mark located tools to remove mass amounts of spam which was utterly killing our Wiki. Not only did he impliment it but he removed ALL of the remaining spam on the wiki, a task we had prior estimated to take quite some time. Atop of this he has also worked on several assigned projects in making Dark Jedi and ancient cultural artifacts for our Fleet to use in Fiction and even custom map development. All in all Mark has done far more than just this, always being avaiable via email and IRC to assist not only me, but all our staff and team. He has proven to be a leader of example nature and he is a great asset to the team. I am proud to present him with the Gold Star of the Empire, the highest award I am permitted to award.
