| | 08/25/2009 | Palpatine Crescent Sincerely, Sirs, if you're looking to make this Fleet to regain its past glory from back 2002 or so when we had literally HUNDREDS of members on our Rosters it's pilots like Lieutenant Chris Pape what you're looking for. Having been CMDR for longer than it's healthy to remember I can count with the fingers left on a lightsaber severed hand the occassions when I had the luck of seeing such levels of motivation and dedication towards a Squadron. Only the likes of CPT Vertigo or the amazing LCM Dempsey (back in the day when she was Cyclone FL) could admit comparission with this behaviour displayed by LT Pape. As a pilot he has already flown no less than 87 missions this month and is now filling a very decent spot on this month's KillBoard. All those missions were flown enforcing quality over quantity, for he didn't use in-game cheats AFAIK. He participated on our Tempest "On the Verge of Epic" competition by submitting BOTH the XvT 18 missions battle and the whole "Hammer to Anvil" XWA battle series. And hell, he has also submitted ALL battles assigned for the Single Player division of "Operation Serpents Sortie"! I have no words, Sirs... In adittion to all this he kept displaying excellent performance as a student of IWATS Academy with 4 passed Courses, featuring very decent scores (yet another 100% even) again. Finally and to top the iceberg, he has been the perfect Flight Member, always in contact with his Flight Leader and submitting FM reports in due time, to the point of finally motivating his FL almost as much as he motivated this new Lieutenant. | | 08/03/2009 | Imperial Security Medal Merit award from Wing X MWE on July '09:
As recommended by CMDR/COL Zosite K. Styles and later reviewed by SOO/VA Astin:
Lieutenant Chris Pape has demonstrated us how a new recruit should perform in his first days of service! Not a week yet since he arrived and he already was passing IWATS Courses as if there'd be no tomorrow, even getting 3 100% scores and finally taking it to its logic consequences and stealing the "Tempest Student of the Month" title for July from our most seasoned veterans. He quickly got used to our procedures and started flying by the book and contacted his Flight Leader. Then he also contacted me as being ready for duty and told me he'd rather keep his performance as an IWATS student before going into full flying activity. But no, it seems not even a true pilot can keep himself far from his cockpit for long; a day after he flew his first 4 missions battle, and another battle before the end of the month. All this would be enough for any new recruit to earn himself a recognition in his first assignment and I'm sure we'll see much more from Lieutenant Pape in days ahead; I'm looking towards it. For all what is stated above and given the fact that this was his first, not month but week! of service I strongly recommend Lieutenant Chris Pape to be awarded a deserved Imperial Security Medal due to his efforts. Award that may be upgraded in following months if LT Pape somehow manages to mantain or even improve such levels of activity. Excellent work, Lieutenant! Recommended by: Zósite Kónstyte Styles | |
| | 08/01/2009 | Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon Tempest Student of the Month on July '09!! With no less than 7 IWATS Courses passed, not to mention the excellent scores LT Pape got on all them. You're indeed the best IWATS student I've seen in many many MANY months, Lieutenant. My most sincere congrats, and keep it up! | | 07/27/2009 | Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon For having achieved an impressive 100% on [BFM] IWATS Course.
