At fifteen the Young Pilots Open came to Karana Prime, allowly any that wanted a chance to compete for a full military university scholarship and a commission into the TIE Fighter Corps. It was a four day competition dealing with maneuvers, tactics, target acquisition, following a set mission plan, dog fighting, and more. On the fourth day Cesar was tied for first place with a young man by the name of Gravin Firestrom. It came down to a sudden death dog fight to determine the winner of the Open. Flying Z-95 Headhunters armed with ion cannons and dummy missiles the two engaged in a record thirteen second match. At the sound of the buzzer Cesar quickly locked onto Gravin and launched his attack. It was over as quickly as it began. Cesar was the winner of the Young Pilots Open and had a full ride to the Military University but instead he declined it, giving the scholarship to Gravin Firestrom. His family, The Steiners, had already secured a place for Cesar at the Military University and Cesar thought it was better that two pilots go instead of one, doubling the numbers to fight the Rebellion.

Cesar is a loyal citizen of the Emperor's Hammer and Imperium. He has been raised with the values that the Rebellion must still be crushed at all costs. It was a cause his father had dedicated so much of his life two and now Cesar must do the same.
The TIE Fighter Corps is not the home of his father as the Original Infiltrator Wing is dead, housed in what they call the Redemption. But it is a start and a way to fight back and strike once again the Rebellion.

Tradition. The Son of the Outsider must continue on the Steiner Family Line in this part of the galaxy. He wanted to bring more honor and glory to the Steiners, trying to make them a well-known family and political influence to the Emperor's Hammer and galaxy.
