A Tour of Duty as Squadron Commander that lasts for nearly 6 years is extremely rare, and so it deserves to end with a very rare medal - and as such I recommend he be annointed into the club of us dagger carriers - I would see him receive the Grand Order of the Emperor for his outstanding service as Commander. SOO: I can't remember any TC Officer with such a long Tour of Duty as Squadron CMDR. I guess he is the one with the longest time in command of a Squadron of the entire TIE Corps. I full support the Commodores recommendation for the GoE. The best recognition a member of the TC can expect for the efforts beside the respect and tribute of his community buddys. TCCOM: General Dunta Polo has seen a lot of TC history and played his part in it with nearly 6 years as Epsilon CMDR. To my personal knowledge there has been no one with such a long time in a CMDR position. It is true, he had his ups and downs during his tenure as CMDR, but during 6 years one is allowed to have some down times- For all the energy, time and effort during his whole Tour of Duty I am proud to welcome General Dunta Polo among those few receipients of a Grand Order of the Emperor. He never passed through a normal TC training as far as I know. He never was able to give [SM/3] IWATS Course a try. And all he could see around was chaos and a crumbling Fleet struggling hardly to carry on. Even then, he maintained himself on touch and loyal to the Fleet through all that time and finally arrived the reopened Tempest Squadron coming from Omicron after our latest major Restructure... to be my entrusted Flight II Leader and one of the best and most dedicated officers I've ever had the pleasure to meet. His activity as a pilot has been completely breathtaking given these hard days we're facing with so low activity: he flew up to 80! missions last month, with even a few highscores under his belt, thus he got 2nd place in "TC Ace of Month" title. He has passed 2 IWATS Courses with excellent scores, participated in all Tempest Competitions, and even was awarded 2 IS-BWs as "Wing X Pilot of the Week" with the monthly title almost in his hands as well. And finally he decided to go even further and applied to be Tactical Surveyor (right now he's working on his first official assignment for the job to be confirmed by the TAC). All this as a pilot. But as a Flight Leader his commitment and good deeds know no end. Detailed and top-quality weekly Flight reports, all of them on time, maintained communication with his FMs so he seems to be perfectly aware of their activity, motivating e-mails, as many help requests to his CMDR as necessary to be the FL he's expected to be. Not much more to say, except that all this deserves the highest reward my authority can recommend so... I strongly recommend for Lt. Commander Polo to be awarded no less than The Bronze Star of The Empire for his proven excellency as Flight Leader, pilot and TC officer.
