Angel has led from the front during a very troubling period for the EH and TC and in doing so has proven himself a dedicated and committed leader. The Challenge has continued to expand despite recent events and has been held to its course by a strong hand on the rudder. COM Comments: Impressive month for COL Angel. He has played a huge part in leading the Challenge to victory in RtF2007, both in encouraging our pilots to participate and an impressive individual effort too. He has also taken on most of the administration whilst I have been busy with RL, and kept the Challenge alive! On top of this all CMDR posts have now been successfully. COL Angel has proven to be a fantastic Wing Commander over the past few months, one that can be relied upon whenever needed, and keeps the personal level of activity at a level most can be proud of. It is given all these facts, and several outstanding months, and for future improvements and leadership I would like to recommend COL Angel for a Silver Star of the Empire!
Flight Officer's Comments: I agree with RA Darklord in every way. While RA Darklord has gone through some RL difficulties, COL Angel stepped up and managed the Ship mostly on his own for the past couple of months. He has also encountered many problems in his wing lately, handling them very well and maturely. Angel also fills in for missing Commanders very well, and he managed this month to fill them all. Angel is indeed a great Wing Commander, and leads by example for the best of his ability, as proven in his scores in Raise the Flag, where he achieved an impressive fourth place overall, helping his ship get first place. For all the above, Angel deserves this Silver Star! Congratulations, Colonel!

COM's notes: I'd like to recommend COL Angel for a Bronze Star of the Empire. He has performed admirably in his first months of command, setting an example for the squadron, flying huge amounts of missions. This month, it was 130 missions, which is an incredible mark. COL Angel also took 4 IWATS courses. Most importantly, he organised and held several competitions for his squadron, promoting activity between the members, and managed the squadron well. For all his efforts, I believe the Bronze Star is in order.

WC's Comments: has really hit the ground running on appointment to the position of Thunder CMDR. He was in no doubt as to the challenge he faced, and he has started well. He has kept up high levels of personal activity, ensured a website for Thunder is up and running within his first month in charge, and set up a couple of competitions for the squadron. For his efforts I would like to recommend COL Angel for a Palpatine Crescent.

LC Angel has done a good job with the Wing in December. He created 6 missions for ECR and flew 2 Free missions himself. He organised multiple competitions and maintained excellent communication with his wing. For this, I wish to recommend a Palpatine Crescent for Lieutenant Colonel Angel for the month of December 2004.

When he became WC, Angel immediately started working to improve the wing and thinking of new ways to make it active. He’s been fundamental in leading the wing through Exercise Cantina Run (ECR), working with the CMDRs, and helping the new CMDRs. He participated on every single ECR round, even winning in the flying round. What’s most impressive is that, when the mission creation round started, and the members gathered to work on that round either disappeared or pulled out, he stepped in to make not just the minimum 4 missions required, but the whole maximum 6 missions allowed, with no previous mission creation experience. His dedication to the wing is admirable, and the wing would be supreme if everyone in it was like him. He deserves this Bronze Star.

LC Angel is a top class officer, he proved that in the month of August by flying a total of 295 missions! He also maintained his duties as CMDR very well and his communication is exellent. WC’s Recommendation: I would like to request a SS for MAJ Angel. Angel has proven to be the most active pilot consistently each month here, which speaks a great deal for him considering he’s also the CMDR of the most productive squadron on the Colossus. This month alone CMDR Angel flew 156 missions, which is actually his *lowest* month count for the time I’ve spent here. This fact alone shows that Angel is a dedicated pilot, a strong difference from the norm here in the TC, and a sign that there’s still life and fun to be found in the flying of TC missions. His incredible flying aside, Angel has also consistently taken many IWATS courses, has won numerous awards for being the Pilot of the Week or winning a top ace in a comp, and even lead his squadron to victory this month as Squadron of the Month here on the Colossus, not to mention earning the same designation from the BGCOM not too long ago. He is currently my WC-XO, and I will soon be depending on him in the future as we begin to push a BG comp here in the Battlegroup, but knowing of his activity and knowing of his abilities, I have the fullest confidence in him. It has, unfortunetly, been some time since he was given award, but his great amount of activity, which exceeds much of what most TC pilots are now producing, is so grand that he must be awarded in a significant away with a medal high enough to mark his achievements and encourage him that if he continues to go forward like this, he will always be given the just reward. I highly encourage this medal to him.

As part of a delayed MSE - CM Angel has impressed me this month. He showed an incredible amount of activity, not only flying a lot, but also doing a lot of recruitment work, making a graphic and always in contact. He's living a very complicated situation in RL and still he can do all that he did, flying around 50 missions this month which was 3rd in the whole wing. He also sent in his flight reports regularly and challenged his CMDR to fly an XWA mission and won! An excellent month and more than one would expect of a FL.
