The COM is missing!
To help find him, we've been given three directives by
the Wing Commander:
- Scout out territory in Star Conflict (earning as
many LoCs as possible from now until the end of the
month)
- Each week, we'll be given one training mission to
fly that was created by the COM to find clues about
his whereabouts (this week's assignment is TIE-TC 233,
fly for the highest possible score)
- Every Sunday, we'll be given three clues that point
to a location that the COM might have gone to (email
answers to ehfrown@gmail.com, not the whole mailing
list)
In the first week of the "clues" portion of the search for the COM,
Sin was represented by CPT Wondra
and your fearless leader.
In the MP section, CM Nolij
and your courageous captain
are both on the board. In the SP section, your skilled skipper came in
second place.
The renewal of Sinner's
Delight has been completed! For
January, I split the month into two halves. For each
half, we've got an IS-SW
going to the Sin pilot with the most SP missions flown
and a second IS-SW going
to the Sin pilot with the most LoCs earned. Further,
we've got an IS-BW for
each of the runners up. I decided to limit this version
to January, in case we need to tweak it for February.
The first half ends on the 15th at midnight, so there's
still time to put in some flight time to win those
awards!
The December MSE
was sent to our WC earlier in the week. Per the TCCOM's
report, the MWE was submitted as well.

| OPEN COMPETITIONS |
The
Competitions Center and Combat Center on the TIE
Corps site can provide all the details for each
competition. In my reports, I'll just be listing short
summaries of each open competition that are open to Sin
pilots. Also, I'm treating the two Ace of the TIE Corps
competitions as a given, since they're always around.
- Sinner's Delight: Each half of the month, our most
prolific pilots will win Iron Stars! (Sin, 2680 and
2681)
- SC PvE: Fly at least 10 Star Conflict PvE missions,
submit screenshots to the COO and COOA, highest
Efficiency average from each pilot's top ten scores
win awards! Bonus awards for grouping! (Whole TC,
2677)
- SC Wingman: Highest assist scores from Star Conflict
PvP missions win awards! (Whole TC, 2679)
- COO Monthly Challenge: Highest kill amount (with
assists counted as half a kill) in Team Battle or
Domination missions wins a DFC! This is now
automatically tracked from LoC submissions, no need to
send a separate email. (Whole TC, 85)
- Find the COM: See above, plus competition numbers
2676, 2675, and 2674 in the database (Wing II)
- X-Wing Replay: This year, we're flying through the
original missions in X-Wing! In January in February,
fly TOD 1: A New Ally. Pilot file and screenshot of
the debriefing screen should be sent to the TAC. High
scores for the whole tour win awards! (Whole TC, 2664)
- TIE Fighter Replay: This year, we're also flying
through the original missions in TIE Fighter! In
January, fly Battle 1: The Aftermath of Hoth. Pilot
file should be sent to the TAC. High scores for the
whole battle win awards!(Whole TC, 2665)
- Mobile Gaming Mania: Each month, the TAC will pick a
free mobile game. Take a screenshot of your highest
score and submit it to the TAC, highest scores win
Iron Stars! January's game hasn't been announced
yet.(Whole TC, 2669)
- One Word Run-On: Over on the message board,
we're doing a one-word-at-a-time story. Highest
participation earns rewards! (Whole TC, 2637)

| CLOSING THOUGHTS |
I went with a non-weekly Sinner's Delight to award more
IS-SWs and also to account for the delay in LoC approvals
we've been seeing lately. There are some solutions being
looked at for LoCs, so hopefully that won't be an issue
for much longer. If you like or dislike the new version of
Sinner's Delight, let me know so I can keep it or change
it up again for February.
