NEWS
|
The big news this week is that we have a new pilot! Please
welcome SL Ragnarok to the
team.
July MSE awards were sent out this week, congratulations to:
- MAJ Wraith for his Bronze Star of the Empire
- MAJ Plif for my Bronze Star of the Empire
- LCM Nolij for his Palpatine Crescent
- CPT Flelm for his Imperial Security Medal
Our nicknames and mottoes
were picked last week, but I have a couple more things to
say about those. LCM Nolij
turned in our new Squadron Motto and has been awarded an IS-BR! The other seven nicknames
and mottoes were turned in by your
courageous captain, so thanks for voting for
them!
I haven't mentioned squadron
citations in a while, but we've been
some new ones. CPT Flelm has
been checking the battleboard to find out what we need to
gain citations, and the efforts of LCM
Nolij and MAJ Wraith
have gotten us close to a number of future citations. Way
to go, all!
The Alpha/Sin SC PvP Comp
continues, with Sin showing quite a few more points than
Alpha. Having to submit screenshots separately to the
CMDRs seems to be part of the reason for that, though.
We're working on a solution for that.
ISDII Warrior Trivia
is still going strong. Our own CPT
Flelm came in at second place in Week 2, good
hustle! Week 3 will be the last week before we send out
monthly awards.
The Sinner's Delight
awards for this week went to CPT
Flelm and LCM Nolij.
Nice work, gentlemen!
CPT Flelm introduced our new
pilot to the TIE Corps and has been awarded his first
Medal of Instruction. Flelm increased his combat rating to
Elite 3rd this week, too. Outstanding!
LCM Nolij also increased his
combat rating to Elite 3rd this week. In addition, his
FCHG rank increased to Aquilifer [AQFR]. Great job!
MAJ Wraith's LoCs this week
earned him a new combat rating as well, Veteran 1st.
Excellent!
Your fearless leader received
the last LoC he needed for the highest combat rating, Tan.
A lot of good-ish pilots died in order for this goal to be
reached, we should take a moment to remember them. Okay,
that's enough.
TIE Golf is
in the works. Our scoring system looks good and I've got
the first mission picked, I just need to pick some dates
and submit the competition to the database.

OPEN
COMPETITIONS
|
The
Competitions Center and Combat Center on the TIE
Corps site can provide all the details for each
competition. In my reports, I'll just be listing short
summaries of each open competition that are open to Sin
pilots.
-1- Sinner's Delight - SP: The pilot with the most SP
missions flown at the end of each week (Tuesday-Monday)
will earn an IS-BW! (Sin,
2607)
-2- Sinner's Delight - MP: The pilot that earns the most
LoCs each week (Tuesday-Monday) will win an IS-BW! (Sin, 2608)
-3- Alpha and Sin SC PvP: Fly SC PvP matches, submit
screenshots of successful missions when you were grouped
with another TC pilot to CPT Cruise and MAJ Plif. Double
points for grouping up with other Sin pilots! (Alpha and
Sin, 2622)
-4- If you finish an SC PvP match in Domination or Team
Battle mode with a lot of kills, send that over to the COO
and SOO (Whole TC, 77)
-5- In SC's Beacon Hunt mode, make an effort to get credit
for capturing the beacons. The COO is counting these and
will reward the highest totals at the end of the month!

THOUGHTS

This was a great week. Lots of flying going on, good
discussions of upcoming competitions, and we even gained a
new pilot. I'm going to have a lot of good things to say
