I'm
proud to have been chosen for a command position so soon
after stepping off of the Phoenix, thank you all for
putting your trust in me.
With opening a new squadron comes designing a banner and
patch, then also figuring out what our mottoes and
nicknames will be. I've advised CPT Flelm that he's free
to decide his Flight's motto and nickname and we'll work
together on the others. Right now Alpha is running a
banner competition, so I'll wait until that one closes to
launch one for Sin.

|
Sin Squadron was opened on the 14th with myself as the
CMDR and SL Turok being assigned to us from the Daedalus.Â
CPT Flelm came to us from Theta on the 15th. For now it's
just the three of us, but I'm working on that.
CPT Flelm and I flew together in TCGN 5 on Friday night.Â
We had a chance to chat over Teamspeak, which I really
enjoyed because voice chat is a lot more fun than just
reading text. We got a couple of wins in and our
screenshots have been submitted to the COO. Thanks,
Flelm!
In TIE Corps news, Alpha Squadron was opened in Wing I,
commanded by newly-promoted CM Landon Cruise.Â
Congratulations to CM Cruise and good luck to Alpha!
Raise the Flag is looming, it's scheduled to take place
over the course of June.
COO/RA Crsepe made a few very interesting changes for SC
pilots:
 - Survivals as the Captain in Combat Recon can be
submitted for an LoC without a kill, providing that the
match was won
 - His stance on custom matches was clarified: custom
matches will be accepted as proof for LoCs just like
normal skirmishes, though he's keeping an eye on the
situation to make sure that the number of custom matches
don't exceed the number of normal skirmishes
 - CM Landon Cruise has been made an Officer in the EH
Corporation so that he can invite people into the
corporation as well

Competitions Center and Combat Center on the TIE
Corps site can provide all the details for each
competition. In my reports, I'll just be listing short
summaries of each open competition that are open to Sin
pilots.
-1- Alpha Squadron is looking for nicknames and mottoesÂ
(Whole TC, 2588)
-2- Alpha Squadron is looking for a new banner (Whole TC,
2587)
-3- Wing II is competing for high scores in TIE-free 278Â
(Wing II, 2584)
-4- If you play a round of Combat Recon in SC, keep track
of your Captain kills and survivals as the Captain (Whole
TC, 2580)
-5- If you finish an SC PvP match with a lot of kills,
send that over to the COO and SOOÂ (Whole TC, 77)
-6- MP Ace of the TIE Corps (Whole TC, 2501)
-7- SP Ace of the TIE Corps (Whole TC, 2492)

CLOSING
THOUGHTS
|
For our first less-than-a-week, there wasn't much to
report but we've got a good start. I'll be working with
CPT Flelm to develop an expansion plan and continuing to
reach out to SL Turok to try to bring him into the fold.
I'm very excited to be a CMDR again, it feels like there's
a world of opportunity to create something special. Or
just a bunch of puns on "sin". Hopefully both!
