Lotsa stuff happened last week. First off, the April MSE was completed. And although I'm very excited about the Silver Star of the Empire that was awarded to both myself and LCM Cruise, and no more less happy about the Imperial Security Medal for LT Simomime, his first merit medal, I am not happy about the fact only three out of 12 pilots were awarded a medal. I'll be spending some time pondering ways to fix that in the coming week or so. But frankly, it's not within my ability. Some of you simply aren't active enough. While I know for some they're happy with the way it's going, if you're not you really have to do something about it yourself...

Ok, next up - Raise the Flag. This massive competition is coming to us in June, and the prospect has already generated a lot of banter on the mailing list. In case you missed it, if RtF was decided by popular opinion, we might as well close dowhn the Warrior again to spare them from the shame of their massive loss!

De you remember I commented on LCM Cruise's recruitment efforts? Well, this week he put that to shame with no less than FIVE new recruits! At this rate, the TCCOM will be forced to open up a new squadron before the start of RtF!

The COM has started a new competition for the Hammer and I urge all of Delta to participate. Simply take some IWATS/IU courses on the EH website. Whoever passes most wins basically, and lots of you have few if no courses taken. Alas, I won't be able to participate myself as I've basically passed every course in the IU save for two. And those are offline or beyond my abilities....
IMPORTANT Be sure to send the completing e-mail to COM Elwood the Brave for credit!

Next up: Delta's Nerd Search Only 4 participants, which is a shame. Still, excellent work to CPT Shado Fenn who bagged first place with 46 out of 50 points. You, sir, are the biggest nerd in the squadron! Kudos to CPT Clark, who only trailed the Captain by a single point. Still, he bagged the trivia last week, both medals have been awarded!

For people like me, who are stuck on a 64 bit system with no way to install the XWA patches, the news is good: earlier today, a group of beta testers has received the beta release of CPT Nutrientman's XWA Craft Pack. It's kinda like an EHSP for XWA, with almost all of the craft patches already included. If all testing goes well, the final release should be close!

Last for the week: I'll be out of town on thursday and friday. If you do stuff that can't wait till Saturday, mail the COM directly.
