| Commander's notes |
Welcome to another Delta squadron weekly status report, folks.
After being away for three days, I remember the time where I would open up my email inbox and find 3 or 4 e-mails there regarding the TC.
Fortunately, those day are over!
Lessee, in no order of importance, just what comes to mind: a kazillion e-mails about the new and upcoming Star Wars
Episode VII. This should be good.
Several new cadets have left PLT Daedalus behind them and received their assignments, welcome to you all. It's good to see these days we're
acquiring new pilots faster than we are losijng old ones. It's a good change! Especially I would welcome SL Benjo
who completes Delta squadron and makes us the only full squadron in the Fleet! Now to get rid of that pesky SL rank! Also kudos to
LCM Cruise who finds himself on the receiving end of several Medals of
Instruction because of this!
When RA Woody became COM he created a few flying competitions. Which is nice for me as I finally get to participate
in competitions again, and I set myself to winning both of those competitions. It's always good to win the first one, as they say in poker.
And so I did. Yay me :)
I've already lost count of how many Legions of Combat have been flooding into my inbox. Thank you for those!
The COM has returned from his short LoA, and so have I. My next ones are already scheduled though: I ill be off the grid on May 14/15, and
also on May 29 to June 1. I'll remind y'all at the time!
Squadron wise, I would like everyone to participate in the Delta's Nerd Search competition due to start
tomorrow! Details are explained below.
The TC website email issues are out of my comprehension at this point. Stuff was getting lost, then everything worked, then stuff
stopped working again. And started back up again. Always a fun thing, but rest assured it has the full attention of our
Fleet Commander!
The final details of the next Raise the Flag competition are also being worked on. Tis major competition is scheduled
to run all through the month of June and I do hope everyone will participate in the total and utter obliteration of the
ISD Warrior. The ISD Hammer shall reign supreme with Delta squadron
as the leader of the pack!
We have a new installment in the series of TIE Corps recruitment videos. Kudos once again to LCM Cruise for this one,
And thanx for using MY uniform :)
More congrats: COPL BubbaX for taking down last week's trivia, LT Simomime for getting his
Commendation of Bravery and LCM Cruise for finally getting himself the coveted
Distinguished Flying Cross.
Have I said already that Delta is the best this ship has to offer? It shows! The Hammer Banner Competition>/font> has ended, and
1st place, 2nd place AND 3rd place went to Deltonians! Excellent showing guys!
