| Commander's notes |
Hi again to another sparkling Delta Squadron report!
A few congrats are in order this week, most of all to
CM Shado Fenn who has left us never to return. From this day forward, it will be
CAPTAIN Shado Fenn! Congrats on a well-earned promotion!
The second round of grats is for LT Landon Cruise who was awarded a Medal of Tactics - his first TIE free mission
hit the compendium this week. To celebrate, I started a ONE WEEK competition. Go and fly the LT's mission, and
whoever in Delta has the highest score at the end of the week wins!
Third congrats are for CPT Ras Kronar who has earned this week his first Trivia
Incentive Award. And his second - yup, two in one week - it seems I had not ONE but TWO Ras kronars in my trivia sheet, and this week
one of them hit 50 points. Then I noticed the second Ras kronar, merged them together, and blink - he broke 100 points. Woops, my bad :) And nice
job to you!
Lastly, another grats to Shado Fenn for bagging this week's trivia!
Unfortunately, the SOO has had some serious hardware issues to
follow his recent move, and that results in work piling up on his desk. Work as in the MSEs from February. And so, we will wait a while longer
before we can see the results of our activities in February. Fortunately, March is almost done as well, and with a little luck we can instantly
double the SOO's workload by submitting the March MSE before he has had a chance to evaluate February! March MSE
will be compiled and finished after next week's report.
Now, competition wise, there's two squadron competitions running starting now. The first is the fiction competition I announced earlier this week
via your email. I hope you've been making plans. So start writing and submitting, you have until April 5th to
submit! Secondly, there the flying competition I mentioned, so if you have ever flown TIE and think "Well, I might 20 minutes to spare" then
fly TIE free 286: Rookie's First Day. Submit your pilotfiles as usual, and all received up until next Saturday
will count. You don't need the actual mission high score, just be the highest scoring pilot in the squadron.
Trivia this week got an extra edge - bonus points were available on every day that every squad member sent in an answer. Unfortunately, that didn't
happen. Good news however is that every squad member did get in at least 1 answer. Yay!
Last for this week: I cann upon the Powers That Be and the Dark
Side and whatever else dark magic there is to curse GN Pickled Yoda for stealing over 70 of my FCHG points. This
should be made illegal and I WILL contact the SOO, TCCOM, FC, SO and my mother in an attempt to get them back!

| Important Competitions |
Competitions are the livelihood of this thing we do for fun. I encourage all of you to enter as many competitions as
you want to/can. And just let me know about it! Don't forget to check out the website for more information.
Delta's Weekly Trivia
Each day of the week (Mon-Fri) you will receive an email with a triviaquestion, same as before. 3 pts for the first correct answer, 2 pts forsecond and 1 pt for 3rd. At the end of the week, the one with themost points wins the shiny. As usual, there's extra shinies available foraccumulating set amounts of points.
Where were you last night?
A short fiction competition. Short meaning it doesn't last long and the story cannot be too long.... As in under 750 words. Topic: Delta squadron was out flying a mission yesterday. One pilot short. You were not there. Explain yourself!
Cruising along
Our LT Cruise has created a free mission and it's out there! Go fly it - whichever Delta pilot scores highest wins the medal. All pilotfiles to be submitted no later than Saturday 29th. Only works if it gets approved!
Ace of the TIE Corps
Each mission flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots. At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!
MP Ace of the TIE Corps
Each multiplayer victory flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots. At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!
Star Conflict's Beacon Hunt
This will be a test of your skill to capture as many beacons as you can in one round with a victory. In layman's terms, in a Beacon Hunt mode game, capture the beacon as many times as you can in one round.
