The mailing list is getting swamped so much the last week I don't even have time to properly go through all of the e-mails. Yikes!
On a bit of a less fun note, we lost two pilots this week: GN Gilad Pellaeon applied for a Flight Leader
position in the newly commissioned Lambda squadron, and LCM Jaorrus Morraus was
forced by the monster in the closet (ie: real life) to depart for the M/FRG Phoenix. Best of luck to the both of you on your
endeavours.
This week did see a nice increase in flying activity, as LC Quincy Nelson decided to start playing some
StarCraft, and quite sucessfully! With MAJ John T. Clark being the only other flying pilot this week, I
have to fear our starfighters are getting a little rusty. Well, in a manner of speaking anyway, I doubt the titanium alloy hull used to
construct them can actually rust, especially in space....
The Wiki Quest competition is off to a nice start, with 3 out of 8 pilots participating. I'm hoping for
more entries this week. For this week's Quest, see the Wiki Quest section below.
The Monthly Squadron Evaluation for January has been hand-delivered to the SOO's office. My apologies for
using the squadron macotte, a trained Jawa, for this task, but I did not dare go within 100 feet of the SOO's office. If you didn't know
yet, he's insane! Unfortunately, the Jawa did not survive delivery, and so we are looking for a new mascotte.
After a few years of absence, this week also saw the return of the Commendation of Loyalty which should
be awarded twice a year - once for the EH's anniversary, and once for the Fleet
Commander's birthday. Two of those found their way to this squadron, so grats on that one, MAJ. Clark!
The ISD-II Hammer still needs a nickname and a motto. If you haven't participated yet, send your suggestions to the SOO's
office. And don't forget to tell me about it!

| Â Delta's Wiki Quest |
 The task ahead is simple, my apprentices: below you will
find two articles on (the English version of) wikipedia, and two articles on Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki. The task for both is to
get from one to the other in as few clicks as possible. Whoever scores the least amount of clicks wins.
Medals to be won: an IS-BR for every weekly winner of each quest, and an IS-SR and IS-BR for the overall winner/runner-up at the end
of the month.
Each click used gives you a 1 point penalty from your week's starting total of 10 points, so everyone begins with 40 points. At the end of the month: whoever scores the lowest number of points has won!

 Competitions are the livelihood of this thing we do for fun. I encourage all of you to enter as many competitions as
you want to/can. And just let me know about it! Don't forget to check out the website for more information.
Delta's Weekly Trivia
Each day of the week (Mon-Fri) you will receive an email with a triviaquestion, same as before. 3 pts for the first correct answer, 2 pts forsecond and 1 pt for 3rd. At the end of the week, the one with themost points wins the shiny. As usual, there's extra shinies available foraccumulating set amounts of points.
Delta's Wiki Quest
Each report in February: 2/2, 9/2, 16/2, 23/2) will hold a wiki challengefor you: one on Wikipedia and one on Wookieepedia. I will give you tworandom articles, and the object of the game is to get from one tothe other in as few clicks as possible. Each week there will be a winneron each wiki.
Each week you will score points: 10 minus the number of clicks you submitted.At the end of the month, the one with the highest score overall wins.Submissions are accepted until the next report is released.
Ace of the TIE Corps
Each mission flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots.At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!
MP Ace of the TIE Corps
Each multiplayer victory flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots.At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!
Star Conflict's Beacon Hunt
This will be a test of your skill to capture as many beacons as you can in one round with a victory.In layman's terms, in a Beacon Hunt mode game, capture the beacon as many times as you can in one round.
