The Commander opened the door to his office and found a manilla envelope had been pushed under it. He know what it was, this week had seen the return of the new Squadron Management IWATS Course after much hard work from the Dean, VA Astin, and these were his results. He'd taken it as soon as he'd been notified that it was back online. He knew that his WC had expected it and he wished to get it done as he knew it was the next step to gaining the Commander's post for his own - although there was still no guarantee that it would be his, it was a step in the right direction! The Squadron had also been moving in the right direction as he had heard from 2 previously 'lost' pilots, and there had been interest in transfers to the Squadron, one of which was completed, with a Reservist Vice Admiral moving into the vacant Flight Leader spot...

"Gentlemen, things are moving forward, if slowly. We need more comms though, I know several of you are not flying, some with reasons, some without, but we cannot continue without comms. We've had a new pilot join us in the shape of COL Exar Kit & he will be taking over as Flight Leader of Flight III - let's welcome him & hope that this helps move us forward as a Squadron."

Better, but not good. Especially as these were all replies to my 'Welcome' massage to the new FL!

In addiction to this, our Sqn's 1st Competition is still yet to get off the ground, with just ONE entry in one of the eight Categories and that was a week ago! This is terrible and has no excuse, work on those Mottoes & Nicknames or the Competition will be terminated at the end of this week!

Several other Squads are beginning to record good activity and many individuals are flying again as can be attested to by the Pilot Kill Board. Fury has many talented individuals in it's ranks - let's make it a great Squadron once more!

Another week gone & although I feel happier now that I have taken and passed IWATS [SM/4] and had a new pilot join us to bring us up to full-strength, it is tarnished by the obvious lack of interest in our Sqn. by several pilots here. I am only one week away from submitting my first MSE and am presently looking at losing at least 3 pilots who will be AWOL'd.

As I've mentioned above - ALL of you are expected to contact me each week with your intended activity or reasons for inactivity. Thus far I have been as lenient as the TIE Corps rules allow, but this will come to an end soon. As more pilots contact me with an interest in joining our squadron, more of you that are inactive will be removed - you have been warned.
