Commander's notes
The last 30 days of this year have finally begun. Which means that as soon as I'm done with this report, I'll move on to the
Monthly Squadron Evaluation and see what medals y'all should receive. I'm pleased to say I've seen
good activity levels from everyone!
The motto and flight nickname for Flight III were changed this week on request of its Flight Leader, Enjoy your new motto guys!
On a side note - congrats to LC Elwood the Brave - This week I had planned a last ditch flying effort to
steal Ace of the Month from him. But then I saw the lead he had and went back to watching Doctor Who instead.
That's only the second time this year someone bested me....
Now for the more important things: I really am enjoying the way trivia is going. This week we had a very close race in which
LCM Jaorrus Morraus came out on top, even though he only got his answer in first on ONE day. I think that
means everyone has a good chance of winning even if you're not the fastest! Congrats to you on your first victory!
The Returnee's Activity Hunt has ended with a total of 5 submissions. They have been sent out to the TC CS
for grading, and I'm hoping to be able to announce the results in a week or two. Can't wait to start reading...
Now - last time you read one of my reports (the last one I hope), I mentioned another squad competition to end the year on. Said competition
has now been submitted and pending approval, but I'm assuming that won't be a problem. See the Delta's
End of Year Bash part of this report. This competition will be running all month, and if there is enough participation, I can up the 1st place
medal to a Silver addon, meaning TWO people get shinies instead of the usual just one...!
To close off this report, here's the final tally in the Delta's FCHG Points Hunt competition. This week,
CPT Nutrientman earned 2 pts, and CPT Clark earned 1 point. This means the total
tally now stands at CPT Kronar and myself (6p) (so an IS-SW for him),
GN Pellaeon, CPT Nutrientman (5 pts) (so both earn an IS-BW),
and a good showing from CPT Kroan (4 pts), CPT Clark (3 pts) and COL BubbaX (2 pts). Your medals are on the way.
PS: I do have to admit - I'm surprised I got a shared first place in this since flying missions doesn't earn me any points anymore. Go me :)

Joke of the week
A kindergarten teacher is trying to explain to her class the definition of the word "definitely".
To make sure the students have a good understanding of the word, she asks them to use it in a sentence.
The first student raised his hand and said, "The sky is definitely blue".
The teacher said, "Well, that isn't entirely correct, because sometimes it's grey and cloudy".
Another student says, "Grass is definitely green."
The teacher again replies "If grass doesn't get enough water it turns brown, so that isn't really correct either."
Finally, Billy raises his hand and asks the teacher "Do farts have lumps?"
The teacher looked at him and said "No...But that isn't really a question you want to ask in class discussion."
So Billy replies, "Then I definitely just shit my pants."

Important Competitions
Competitions are the livelihood of this thing we do for fun. I encourage all of you to enter as many competitions as
you want to/can. And just let me know about it! Don't forget to check out the website for more information.
Delta's Weekly Trivia
Each day of the week (Mon-Fri) you will receive an email with a triviaquestion, same as before. 3 pts for the first correct answer, 2 pts forsecond and 1 pt for 3rd. At the end of the week, the one with themost points wins the shiny. As usual, there's extra shinies available foraccumulating set amounts of points.
Delta's End of Year Bash
Another squad competition to generate some activity and medals. See section below this one for details.
Ace of the TIE Corps
Each mission flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots. At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!
MP Ace of the TIE Corps
Each multiplayer victory flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots. At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!

Delta's End of Year Bash
I hope this is something for everyone....
part 1: IWATS
Once again I will attempt to educate you all with some IWATS(IU included) activity :)* Complete any IWATS/IU course you want for 1 pt* Complete the assigned IWATS/IU course for 2 pts* Highest points total at the end of the month wins* This week's assigned IWATS/IU Course: Wookiee Studies
part 2: mini runon
I started a small run-on on the Message Boards: The History of Dellyn Tow.There's an introductory post to set a frame of reference.* Submissions should be no longer than 10 lines* You can't make 2 submissions in a row.* Everyone who makes more than 10 submissions gets an IS-BR
part 3: That's my kill
Just hoping to generate some flight activity here! Each flight activity counts, but flying the assigned missionearns extra credit. Extra credit is awarded once a week, so not 3 points for flying all 3!
* Each SP mission flown earns a point, each MP mission flown earns a point* Each SP battle flown earns an extra point, each mission HS earns an extra point* Completing the assigned mission earns a bonus point
* This week's assigned missions:
TIE free 256: Tides of War XvT free 201: We Owe Him One XWA free 139: Espionage
Medals to be won depend on participation - if enough people participate I can award a Silver Ribbon/Wings addon for the winner, with a medal as well for the runner up.
If participation is too low, only the winner gets one and that will be a Bronze Ribbon/Wings addon.

Wrapping up
Another fine week, my pilots. Although every week that passes saddens me as I seem to be losing more and more FCHG points every week.
Stay away from my mission high scores!
