Commander's notes
Well, once again we have reached a first, people: this was the first ever week of trivia where every single
pilot (well, everyone but me) scored points! Congrats to all! Unfortunately, only one can win the medal, so grats to
COL BubbaX. Still - your participation matters. After all - getting a set number of points will get you
an award as well, so all the points you scored are not lost!
For the rest, it's been a pretty quiet week. Save the good news that COL Zosite K. Styles has been able
to get his hands on a database backup from 2005. So instead of losing everything, we only lost a little, and GA Ronin for
having kept this backup for so long!
The Returnee's Activity Hunt competition is coming along smoothly with 4 entries so far and 1 more week to go.
So far, we have one participant from Delta, but I'm hopinh for more!
On the happy news front: two more people received a Grand Order of the Emperor! Grats to the TCCOM,
HA Daniel Bonini for his, grats to COL Zosite K. Styles for his. Getting one of
those top level medals as a line pilot is extraordinary! Also - grats to FA Jarek Laan for his
Gold Star of the Empire. All three are in my opinion very well deserved!
In my running tally of the Delta's FCHG Points Hunt competition, I'm glad to say there is movement in the stats!
John T Clark earned 1 point (2 total), I earned 2 pts (6 total), Nutrientman earned 3 pts (3 total). As such, the current standings are:
CPT Kronar and myself (6p), GN Pellaeon (5 pts), CPT Kroan (4 pts), CPT Nutrientman (3 pts), COL BubbaX, CPT Clark (2 pts). There's 6 more
days to earn points folks, so do what you can. Each of you has plenty of holes in your flight record of missions you can fly to earn points.
Add to that the multiplayer option (each win scores a point too!), and if you really want to show off your skills, get some high scores for
2 points a piece!
In closing, I'd like to blow my own horn a little: with my current flying activity, I broke the 1000 missions
flown barrier for this year, and thus am well set to win Ace of the Year for the third time. Slightly disappointed
since the first time I won that with 3100 missions and the second time with 2315. I guess this year's number reflects that trend :)

GS for Laan, GOEs for Styles and Bonini!

Joke of the week
A duck walks into a post office and asks the man behind the counter: "Do you have any corn?"
The man answers politely: "No, we don't have any corn here."
The next day, the duck enters again and asks: "Do you have any corn?"
Annoyed, the man answers: "No! We don't have any corn."
This goes on for a couple of days until finally, when the duck asks "Do you have any corn?", the man gets so upset he yells: "NO! For the last time we don't have any corn, and if you ask again I'll nail your beak to the counter!"
The next day, the duck returns and asks: "Do you have any nails?"
The man answers: "No."
Then the duck asks: "Do you have any corn?"

Important Competitions
Competitions are the livelihood of this thing we do for fun. I encourage all of you to enter as many competitions as
you want to/can. And just let me know about it! Don't forget to check out the website for more information.
Delta's Weekly Trivia
Each day of the week (Mon-Fri) you will receive an email with a triviaquestion, same as before. 3 pts for the first correct answer, 2 pts forsecond and 1 pt for 3rd. At the end of the week, the one with themost points wins the shiny. As usual, there's extra shinies available foraccumulating set amounts of points.
Ace of the TIE Corps
Each mission flown during a month will count towards your score, with shinies for the top 3 pilots. At the end of the year, the TC's Top Gun will win a rare IS-PW!
Delta's FCHG points hunt
The Delta pilot who gains most FCHG points during November wins. If more than 2 pilots submit pilotfiles, I canoffer up an IS-SW for the winner!
Returnee's Activity Hunt
With so many pilots returning to active duty, here's a little competition just for them - write a small fiction(1 page max) about your return! IS-SR/BR for the winners!

Wrapping up
It's a good week. And with the current activity in the squadron, I'm pondering a competition to end the year. Perhaps a mixed thing again to give everyone a chance to compete.
More on that in my next report since I would like toi start that off when December begins, which is next Sunday. That also means next Sunday will see the awarding of medals
for the FCHG Hunt competition. The Activity Hunt for returnees will take longer since 4 people have to grade the stories. But - there's also monthly evaluations to be done
next week, so if you want to increase the odds of nailing an extra shinie, this is your chance :)
