| Commander's notes |
Well, it seems the TC site is holding its own. One of the ultimate tests was the awarding of all the medals for
Dempsey's Anniversary Bash. Not so much the medals, but the e-mails going out. But it appears all the
e-mails were sent out and received, so congrats to everyone who got one or more shinies last week! I'm glad to say Delta also
bagged some shines in the TC wide competitions, mostly thanks to CPT Clar. I think he outdid himself
bagging a total of 14 medals this week...
Decrypting the entire compendium is nearing its end. After that, it's a matter of adjusting a few lines
of code to give people two download options: the old encrypted EHM files, with the simple one-click-to-install EHBL system, or the
unencrypted ZIP files which unfortunately require manual installation until we can get a new launcher system.
I have an offer on the table and waiting to hear back on that.
The Karana Inititive 4 has begun, a TIE Fighter battle has been created and released. Unfortunately it
seems some peop[le are having issues with the battle crashing the game, while others have no trouble at all. I haven't got a clue
what the problem could be in this.
Still - no Deltonians have flown the battle to my knowledge. So head over to your fighters and fly this thing!
Last week I mentioned that two of the 8 pilots in Delta are about the get themselves moved to the M/FRG Phoenix.
I lied. That really should have been 3.... I hate having to do this but there seems to be little alternative.

| Joke of the week |
One day, a 7 year old boy went to visit his grandmother. Playing with his toys in her bedroom while grandma was dusting, he looked up and said: "Grandma, why don't you have a boyfriend now that grandpa went to heaven?"
Grandma replied: "Honey, my TV-set is my boyfriend. I can sit in my bedroom and watch it all day long. The religious programs makes me feel good and the comedies makes me laugh. I'm happy with my it as my boyfriend."
Grandma turned on the TV-set, and the reception was terrible. She started adjusting knobs, trying to get it focus. Frustrated, she started hitting the backside of the TV hoping to fix the problem.
The little boy heard the doorbell ring, so he hurried to open the door, and there stood his grandpa's old friend, now the grandma's minister.
The minister said: "Hello, son, is your Grandma home?"
The little boy replied: "Yeah, she's in the bedroom bangin' her boyfriend!"
