Commander's notes
It's been an exciting week, folks. After a long while the Fleet Commander has decided to appoint a new TIE Corps Commander with the aim
of revitalizing the TIE Corps. Activity has slowly dwindled, and if we want to keep on having fun with our ancient PC games, we need to
get back into action so let's do it. Unfortunately this means Gamma Squadron is now without a commander, but seeing who is in that unit
I have no doubt a suitable replacement will step forward soon enough.
As one of his first official acts, the new TCCOM handed out some high level awards to his squadron commanders, something that was long
overdue if you ask me.
Aside from that, there's a healthy discussion going on on the TC mailing list about moving the EH forward. Not so much literally, but
more along the lines of refurbishing the Order of Battle, the Grand Scheme of Things and whatnot. If you have any thoughts on the matter,
join in!
Lastly, there's going to be some more changes, particularly website wise. For those who actively use it, it should prove to be an
improvement...
On a squadron level - December/January Squadron Evaluation was resubmitted this week and the medal recommendations approved. They have
been recommended and await final approval. Let's go get some more shall we!
I do apologize for this week's trivia. Apparantly it was a lot harder than I had anticipated, I've never seen so few answers submitted
with such a high rate of wrong answers. I'll try to make it easier next week, but no guarantees. Still - grats to Gilad for getting the
first three correct (which were imho the hardest ones).

In the headlines this week
GN Daniel Bonini appointed HA Daniel Bonini, TIE Corps Commander
Squadron Commanders were awarded for their activity: Exar Kit (Alpha) got a Bronze Star of the Empire, myself and Dunta Polo (Epsilon) got promoted.
Mark Schueler was also promoted to the rank of Colonel.

Joke of the week
Early one morning, a mother went in to wake up her son. "Wake up, son. It's time to go to school!"
"But why, Mom? I don't want to go."
"Give me two reasons why you don't want to go."
"Well, the kids hate me for one, and the teachers hate me, too!"
"Oh, that's no reason not to go to school. Come on now and get ready."
"Give me two reasons why I should go to school."
"Well, for one, you're 52 years old. And for another, you're the Principal!"

Important Competitions
Competitions are the livelihood of this thing we do for fun. I encourage all of you to enter as many competitions as
you want to/can. And just let me know about it! Don't forget to check out the website for more information.
Delta's Weekly Trivia
Each day of the week (Mon-Fri) you will receive an email with a trivia question, same as before. 2 pts for the first correct answer, and 1 pt for 2nd and 3rd. At the end of the week, the one with the most points wins the shiny. As usual, there's extra shinies available for getting a specific number of questions answered correctly.
