Welcome to a
new Gamma Squadron Report, the 20th of my period as Gamma
Commander, and it could not be opened with great news for some Gamma
members!!
For some unknown
and unbelievable reason, your commander, aka me, has been inserted in the
very restrict club of people that have held the rank of General in this club!!
I’d like to thank FA La’an and FA Eclipse for this honor, and I’d also like
to thank you all, my fellow mates, without whom I wouldn’t have the chance to
make it this far.
Our esteemed
Flight 3 Leader, Impulse, has been promoted to the rank of Captain! It’s been
a long time we’ve waited to see this good old friend finally advance from CM,
and he has definitely earned this recognition from his performance as FL.
Congratulations, Captain Impulse!! May it not take this long for us to see
you grow to MAJ, hey?
I hope this
promotion also boosts interest in the still opened position of Flight 2
Leader from people still seeking advancement in their EH career. Not that I
wouldn’t also enjoy some applications from our Colonels out there…anyone up
for the task???
Following with
the processed MSE requests (not all were already processed, I believe), I’d
like to congratulate both COL Zosite Konstyte Styles and COL Viper Pred on
their well-deserved Imperial Security Medals, which were awarded for great
activities in defense of Gamma in December! Keep up the great work!!
For his actions
last month, both in flying activity and getting out of his way to try and
make other pilots commit to the Flight Comp’s last week, COL Viper Pred has
been chosen as The Black of Black, thus earning an Iron Star – Bronze Ribbon!
Well done, Vip!
On that light,
I’d like to point out that this year’s version of The Black of Black has been
submitted for approval!
