Introduction

Greetings,

If it was announced somewhere, I’ve clearly missed it, so I’d like to congratulate the TIE Corps Commander, Jedi Eclipse, on his promotion to Fleet Admiral! You’ve earned it, sir!

A Fleet wide fiction competition has been announced by the TCCOM! The topic, inspired in Halloween, is: “A TIE Corps Ghost Story”. You can check the details in the Competition’s Center below. Please note that submissions are due tomorrow!! Run!!

With the end of October some competitions have met their monthly conclusion! The Black of Black (aka Pilot of the Month) winner for October is LC Tempest, for his constant presence and personal achievements, which brings Gamma to a higher level among the fleet. Congratulations, Temp!

Sadly the Master Mighty Mission of the Week competition had no winner, since none of you lazy drinkers bothered to fly one of the assigned missions. Booh! Be advised that this month’s installment starts immediately. The first mission is a TIE, don’t you dare not fly it!

Gamma’s Monthly Squadron Evaluation for October has been submitted a few days ago. At this point, we only expect approval from the SOO. There probably will be more bad news than good this time, but there’s nothing I can do about that. I’ll keep you posted.

The SOO has mailed the Squadron Commanders with preliminary details on the coming Fleet wide flying competition. It will be announced soon, so get ready for action!!

Beta test of Tempest’s battle is completed. One of the best battles I’ve flown, with many new things introduced, and absolutely no bugs at all. Congratulations, Temp, I look forward to seeing it on the compendium and getting crazy for going after its high scores!

Description: In the spirit of today as Halloween, Samhain, All Hallows Eve etc, I would like to first say Happy Halloween! Tonight I would like to kick off a simple fiction competition to get us back into gear. The topic: A TIE Corps Ghost Story! Yes, I would like to take on a ghost story with yourself as the main character! Light or dark, happy or tragic, I would love to see the creative powers of our group at work! Submissions can be denied if they are not of sufficient length / quality. I don’t want to see “The captain said ‘Boo!”, give me a story, a few paragraphs or more, preferably more than a page. If there are more than Four (4) submissions, all participants below 3rd place will get an Iron Star-Bronze Ribbon! Submissions should be sent to me at jedieclipse@gmail.com with the subject “Haunted TIE Corps”.

Participants: So we must begin our long journey... Towards the lands of Awesomeo... Towards greatness....
Awards: Highest scorer after 4 rounds will win a IS-BW Any pilot who scores higher than me after 4 rounds will also receive a IS-BW. Medals only available to pilots within Gamma Squadron. Any entries from other pilots are welcome.
Description: In an effort to promote good missions, lots of medals and good old competitive spirit each week I’m going to nominate a free/battle/map. After four weeks (end of each month) the scores will be totaled. Highest scorer will win a medal as well as any pilot who beats my own score.
