As you should have read, I'll be stepping down from the COO
spot in about ten days, to become the SOO. I've enjoyed this position
very much, and am confident that your new COO Miles Prower will be
doing a good job!
The Squadron Re-mobilization, and I would like to thank my COO Staff
for helping manually note down in a spreadsheet more than two and a
half thousand submitted screenshots.
The monthly parts of TIE Corps on Recon and TIE Corps vs AI did come to
an end as well, monthly competitions as well as the COO's monthly
Challenge will as usual run until the actual end of the month.
Please be sure
to upload remaining screenshots as soon as possible! Screenshots
submitted past May 2nd 23:59 GMT will not be considered for any
competitions, including the Squadron Re-mobilization, and will not be
reflected on the monthly Killboards for April.
Horus Blackheart's PvP event from
April 18th has seen several contestants and screenshots submitted.
While no pilot managed to achieve ten submissions for an honorary
IS-BW, I am proud to announce that CM CharlieX has met the thresholds
of the COO manual and shall be awarded a DFC for his exceptional flying!
Thanks to the very high CoOp flying
in the past two weeks we have seen three Pilots hit new COOP/PVE
Listing Thresholds and respective Medals: LC Rando manages to pass 100
LoS and thus reaches Private 1st Class and an ISM. LCM Jarion
Renalds, fresh from the Reserves, demolishes the same limit and is well
on his way to 300 LoS already. LC Zekk Terrik surpasses 300 points to
be awarded a PC as Gunner's Mate 1st Class.

COO's Monthly
Challenge 2020 - whole TC
This Combat Event will be for the
Distinguished Flying Cross. Your goal
will be to submit a victory screenshot with the highest number of kills
+ half assists you can get in one round of and Star Conflict PvP
matches. For this event, Assists are counted, but only at half weight
and we round down. If a pilot finishes a match with 10 kills and 5
Assists, the score for the match would be recorded as 12. Submissions
to this competition are made through the database like any other 24/7
LoC submission. While processing LoCs, the COO and COOA keep an eye out
for new personal bests and update a shared spreadsheet.
When a pilot has won the DFC 3 times
in a row, he cannot win it in the
fourth month. His points will be tracked, but not counted for the
Combat Event. For his efforts, he will be rewarded with a IS-SW.

second place. Participation from MAJ Alejandro Araujo and myself.

RIDDLE 2020
|
Every week I will
include an encoded transmission or question in my COO report. Your task
will be to decode the transmission or answer the question.
The code will be different every
time, and the solution must be an readable and understandable English
sentence. Questions must be answered in appropriate form.
The theme of the transmission will be
the Star Wars based.
The first pilot sending the correct
answer to the mailing list wins and get an IS-BR. 5th victory will be
updated to an IS-SR, 10th to an IS-GR and 25th to an IS-PR.
The 2nd pilot who send the correct
answer to the list will be given 3 points, the 3rd pilot 2 points and
everyone else 1 point. Those points will be summed up: 10 points will
give you a IS-BR and 25 points an IS-SR.
