Phoenix stood by the door from the Hammers squadron ready room, it had
been quite the week with all the changes and he was still getting his
head around the influx of new personnel both to the Hammer at large and
the changes to his squadron.
A row of TIE Phantoms stood at the ready, their trio of blade like
solar arrays gleaming in the hangars overhead lights. Off to the side
sat the flight of TIE Defenders that made up Lieutenant Commander Avals
flight three.
"Admiring the view General?" a familiar voice chimed in from behind him.
Phoenix offered up a wry smile, "it's been a interesting week to say
the least Mirei, but nothing that some flight time won't fix".
Lieutenant Commander Seppen had transferred to Beta Squadron earlier in
the week, and this was one of the many changes that had shifted the
plates under Phoenix's feet.
"Speaking of which, we're due for launch the moment we drop out of hyperspace" she said.
Phoenix nodded in agreement, "the Admiral wants everyone out as a
honour guard for the new TIE Corps Commanders arrival, only fitting now
that we're his flagship."
The whine of fighters starting up signalled the end of their
conversation, the Hammer was getting close to its destination and it
was time to move out.
Helmet in hand Phoenix stode towards his fighter, this was going to be a day to remember.

NEWS

It has indeed been a week if not a day to remember with the
departure of Lieutenant Commander Seppen being the last in a series of
changes that has seen the departure of CM CharlieX and LCM Seppen and
the arrival of Lieutenants Francois748 and Tamak.
LCM Seppen leaves us to take up a position in Beta Squadron, one of the
two newly re-opened squadrons that have been brought back to life with
our growing numbers.
Other big bits of news as of late include the change of TCCOM with HA
Pete stepping down and returning to life on the flight line, is
replacement being our former SOO FA Plif! Additionally the Warrior has
seen a change of COM with AD Hav Antiel stepping down and taking up the
command of Rho Squadron.
Closer to home its been a relatively decent week with flying by myself
and GN Dempsey in addition to several members taking part in the Delta
Trivia and checking in via email. We've also welcome LT Folling to
Telegram - which is a fantastic way to stay in touch with your fellow
members!
