INTRODUCTION
|
Good Saturday afternoon Hammer
pilots!
First off let me congratulate Colonel
Hav Antiel for his Grand Order of the Emperor, that lets me segue into
a little bit of further news. The Hammer
and the Warrior have expanded
with Beta Squadron and Rho Squadron respectively being re-opened. Our
Beta Squadron is under the leadership of veteran pilot Colonel Doyon
and Rho Squadron is under the leadership of the esteemed Colonel Hav
Antiel who decided he wanted to work from the cockpit. In further
assignment news, LCM Mirei Seppen of Delta Squadron and LC Kyle Kroan
of Epsilon Squadron transferred into Beta Squadron as Flight Leaders
for 2 and 3 respectively and LCM SkyShadow returned from the Reserves
to take Beta FM 2-2. LT Nell Folling returned to Delta FM 1-3 and Alpha
picked up SL Riz at Alpha FM 2-2.
We are holding Combat Event #156 "TC PvP Shootout" which was enacted by
Colonel Horus Blackheart today at 6 PM Eastern/11 PM GMT.
There is a DFC for the top scoring pilot and IS-BWs at hand for those
participating in at least 10 matches or more. Remember when submitting
your screenshots that you reference Combat Event #156. We'll be meeting
at GameRanger (http://gameranger.com) and if you need someone to get
you in, feel free to add me at "AD Miles Prower". Voice comms will be
in #hangar at the TIE Corps Discord which you can always find either in
my e-mail signature as of today or in the Competitions and Events
section of this report.
The Hammer will be host to
the TIE Corps Commander and the Admiralty Board. The flag quarters have
been cleaned and prepared and naval troopers will be stocking the
canteen with Doritos and Mountain Dew. The first 25 greeters get an
authentic cardboard cutout of the Coruscanti actor Anthony Edwards in
costume as LT Plif from the holo film "TOP TIE", already signed by him
and Plif in real permanent marker!

-There has been a tradition of holding a weekly meetup on Discord and
GameRanger to play X-Wing vs TIE Fighter or X-Wing Alliance on
Thursdays. This is being expanded out to availability in Thursdays,
Fridays and Saturdays.

month that would have me working Sunday-Wednesday from 12:30 PM to
11:30 PM Eastern. However due to Apple's change in operations hours
because of COVID-19, I am now working from 10:30 AM to
9:30 PM ET on the same days.
