INTRO
|
|
|
Good
day pilots.
It is almost unbelievable we're facing a worldwide apocalyptic
scenario. Of course the numbers aren't big when we think on the
proportions but if left unchecked, they'd grow large.
Furthermore, the approach we give to it as a society will
determine whether we keep those number relatively "low" or not. I
deeply regret those deaths and pray for their souls and for those still
sick for their recovery but I pray for a change on the way things have
been done. We cannot keep placing economy ahead of human lives. We have
to help each other and rely on solidarity as that's what made us
survive aside from our intelligence...think on it: if my neighbors gets
infected, chances are I'll get infected as well so we need to help each
other to either avoid get infected or avoid infecting others. There's a
lot to think about on these days.
On
TC, I guess all good things come to an end: our good FC Pete will
retire and Plif will take over the commanding seat. Congratulations
Pete on a good command and Plif on his new assignment! The TC has
beneffited quite a lot from such fine officers. I'm glad to be part of
this.
Gaming wise, I've had some entertainment installing the
latest XWAUP mods, namely the Repair Yard, Casino, Assault Transport
and testing the XWA Hacker. Awesome graphics but they're becoming too
modern for my "new" (old) PC and ot giving 60 FPS anymore... I'm going
back to the DSUCP 2.6 versions. I mean... a 32MB OPT? lol those files
were originally 300-400 kb big haha.
I'm happy to announce ReMob will continue this month so
we still have some chance. I've been flying all platforms (TIE, XvT,
BoP, XWA, SC) and I'll be uploading my work on the next days while the
internet allows so. I expect you guys to participate as well on this
effort. I adfmit my chair isn't the most ergonomic one and I can't be
sitting here for hours but hey, I love these games.

Gustan is active at SP. I'm trying to do my best to fly
as much as possible but its not just quantity, it is also
quality. Also, there's the internet problem with all the extra
load. I'm seriously needing help here flying those battles.
