Even though this was the major rest & recreation week of the year, with all these festivitations around and the end of the year coming, we've had a new addition to the fleet. Sub Lieutenant Cameron Yorke joined us in Kappa. Welcome aboard!
Fleet Admiral Plif has started a new competition on the TC level. "There and Back Again: A COMPOST Tale" is about flying the "special" TIE battle TIE-TC 244 Lord of the TIEs and go for the highest score. Details about the competition can be found here.

EPSILON NEWS
|
The 52nd week of the Epsilon squadron competitions is over. I had SC screens from Pel, Silvius and myself.
EoP participant this week was again just myself. What's up with you guys? Not interested in SP gaming anymore?
In EoR we've had 3 participants. COL Silvius turned out third with 2 points, Pellaeon came second by beating my COOP score and earning himself 4 points, and I came 1st with 11 points.
For EoM I received none beside my own 4 screens. So this time I end up first with 16 points, again.
The monthly and annual parts of all 3 comps show me as first, with different points. For EoP, COL Gyysler came second on the annual part.
For EoR the December scoreboard shows COL Silvius in second place with 30 points and COL Pellaeon in third with 4 points. The annual EoR scoreboard still shows RA John T. Clark with the second highest score, even though he left us a while ago for the COO's office, and thus left the competition. So the second place for EoR-2019 goes to Pellaeon. Third is our former COO, Silvius, and fourth is Steve Dermody, with his early year submissions.
For EoM the image is a bit sad.Only Pellaeon submitted a single screen during December and thus came in second. On the annual scoreboard, Silvius is still second with 16b points while Pellaeon came third with his 6 points.
Even though I have just submitted the 2020 reincarnations of these three Epsilon comps, I will keep a close look on the participation level. If any of these comps turns out to see no participation during the next weeks, I will have that comp closed down.

Every week in the Epsilon CMDR reports a Freemission for TIE, XvT and XWA will be announced. Every member of Epsilon has until the next Saturday, 06:00 UTC, to fly these Freemissions and send the bsf mail/pilot file for the Mission to markus@friebis.net. Best scorer in each platform earns a IS-BW.
In addition to this, the best pilot in each platform earns 4 points, second best 3 points, third best 2 points and all other participants 1 point. These points are summed up for the month/year. The pilot with most points at the end of the month gets an IS-SW, second an IS-BW. The pilot with most points at the end of the year gets an IS-SW, second an IS-BW.
In addition to these each submitted pilot file/bsf mail earns the respective pilot an activity point. For each 10 activity points the pilot gains an IS-BW. When reaching/surpassing 50 activity points, the pilot recieves an IS-SW instead and the activity points are reset to 0.

EoR - 2019
Every week before Satrurday, 06:00 UTC, Epsilon pilots submit their SC PvP/PVE/COOP screen with the highest EFF points to markus@friebis.net. In each category (PvP/PvE/COOP) the best scorer will earn 4 points, second will earn 3 points, third 2 points and every further participant 1 point. These points will be summed up.
The pilot with most points at the end of the week will earn an IS-BW. The pilot with most points at the end of the month will earn an IS-SW, second an IS-BW. The pilot with most points at the end of the year will earn an IS-SW, second an IS-BW.
For each submitted screen (max 1 per category per week) the pilot earns 1 activity point. Every 10 activity points the pilot earns an IS-BW. When reaching 50 activity points the pilot earns an IS-SW instead and the activity points are set to 0 again.
