So, as we can see General Kaisin
Mirtez was given the win in the Fiction comp & therefore the overall scores
for the top 2 squads did not change and Delta are declared the winners, which
wins all participating members an IS-GW and the prestigious "TCCOM's
Own" title - Congratulations!!
Right pilots, now I think it's
time to introduce another little flying competition! =)
To that end, I'm introducing a
bi-weekly comp that is a simple 'fly the battle & the highest score wins...'
type.
For, when the SOO
returns & I become surplus to requirements, I shall need an escort to make
sure I safely arrive at my destination (wherever that may be!!). So I am asking
for 3 volunteer pilots to make sure I get there OK.
This time around is
'TIE', so download TIE-TC#1 and fly to the best of your abilities. You have
2 weeks to send me your pilot files (which I will BSF at the end of the competition).
Highest score gets an IS-SW & becomes "WC's Wingman - TIE",
2nd place will be rewarded with an IS-BW.
Don't worry if 'TIE'
is not your thing, as I shall be announcing 'XvT' and 'XWA' versions later...
There's also the month-long
IWATS competition to take part in, an IS-SR on offer there.
I shall be giving
CPT Ard Royber a little while to 'settle-in' to his new chair, as Alpha's CMDR.
After which I'd like to start seeing some good-natured 'inter-sqn' rivalry with
competitions. I shall be in contact with all CMDR's in due course.

In other news,
the 3 of us who marked the fiction competition would like to
mention LCM Tuba's effort for, although it did not win any awards, was deemed
to be "Rather creepy - in a good way...". The caliber of entries was,
in our opinion very high even though the number of entries was not, and all
entrants should be congratulated on thier efforts... =)
Still no interest in the 'Student' competition as of yet, plenty
of time to go before the end of the month though...
I hear Dempsey has had some computer problems which has 'stalled'
her "Hits Mania" comp, but don't let that put you off. So head over
to the Message Boards to await her next installment of Hits.
I am still awaiting MSE's from some CMDR's, as I wish to send
off May's rewards (I have also been sent April's by 2 CMDR's and I shall put
all recommendations forward as soon as I receive everybody's).
I will also be adding all of the medals obtained in last months
RtF to the list now that we have the full outcome.
Now we're at full-strength CMDR-wise, let's see a spurt of activity
before the inevitable summer-break gets us out in the sunshine and away from
our computers...
