| HEADLINES |
- April's MSE is in, medals are out in processing now.
- Commanders, please have your MSE spreadsheets for
May completed no later than Wednesday, May 5th, 2019.
- Commodore had to deal with some system downtime for a good
part of the month trying to diagnose problems with the new
battlestation. It started out with random system freezes, then
descended into regular system
freezes, to freezes directly at startup. Isolation suggested an
instability with Windows at first, but then even the Recovery system
failed forcing an all-nighter effort trying to make clean install media
off a Windows XP laptop, reinstalling Windows and then having the same
thing happen. Turned out the issue was with the memory clock
assignment, for some reason the system became unstable at its default clocking, but works fine
when stepped down by one setting. Reports and data got backed up before
the recovery attempt fortunately and
as a bit of a silver lining I managed to find a hard drive containing
Recon Office videos that I thought I somehow lost. Add in some rough
overtime at Apple and an unexpected adjustment in my schedule. I
certainly appreciate the patience everyone up and down has extended to
me. June I intend to be back in the flying saddle. :)
- I'd like to remind our pilots that we are holding a weekly
MP event on Thursday as well a weekend EH vs RS event on Saturday that
is now eligible for the Distinguished Flying Cross.

- Submit an image suitable for uploading to the pilot's
profile in the database - 5 points
- Submit a 250+ word fiction suitable for uploading to

This is the 2019 Rendition of
ISDII's Squadron Supremacy Competition. Points are tallied for each SP,
MP PvP, and MP PvE mission a pilot completes, then each pilot's total
is added to their squadron's. The squadron with the most points overall
gets first place and the squadron with the second most points gets
second place. To be counted as a participant and be eligible for
awards, a pilot must have completed at least 10 missions that month. |
