New Rank, Who Dis?
WarCOM Promoted to Vice Admiral
As you can tell from my cheesy GIF above, I wasted no time in ordering an updated rank bar from Interstait Designs. "Isn't that a little presumptuous?" you ask. That's a fair cop, but I can explain. I'm attending Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, and I want to show off my proper TC rank. I took a risk assuming I might earn a promotion before April. Nevertheless, the promotion was a pleasant surprise, and I'm not shy about how proud I am to join the Mutual Vice Admiration Society.
- My name and rank now form a palindrome: VA Hav = vaH AV.
- There are 52 Vice Admirals listed on the TC Database, making VA the 2nd-most-common flag rank.
- Vice Admiral was Thrawn's rank when I first encountered him in TIE Fighter.
- Google searches for "Star Wars vice admiral" return photos of Dr. Ellie Sattler with purple hair.
News
Since the last report, SL Cloud Striker graduated from PLT Daedalus and joined Sin Squadron as Sin 2-4. Welcome to the TC Flagship, Could Striker! The TCCOM and SOO have approved the Warrior's February evaluation. I'd like to thank the CMDRs for their prompt evals, allowing me to submit the ship eval ahead of schedule. Medals should be awarded shortly.
February's Escort Flight competitions wrapped up last week. I have updated the scoreboard and recommended February's medals. Looking ahead to this month's standings, there are currently three Warrior pilots on the SP Kill Board and three Warriors on the MP Kill Boards (not counting your humble WarCOM, AKA VAHAV).
