INTRO
Hello pilots.
Good news and not-so-good news. Let’s begin with the latter.
Sadly, some of you like our esteemed friend Kotare, are actually unable to see any gaming action due to RL issues. Fortunately, email contact is being kept which is good enough given our compromises as growth men. Activity is low, down to mainly email contact short of my attempts at writing fan fiction. In fact, I’m once more sending a report for the last two weeks since there isn’t basically much more to report other than the news our Commodore brings us at https://tc.emperorshammer.org/showreport.php?nr=2566 .
The good news is I’m kinda able to connect – still got ot learn how to handle this router so to be able to try XvT MP. I’m also happy to announce I’m once more inspired to go back to writing and mission/campaign creation and I already made the basic structure of a post ROTJ regarding the Imperial Remnant, EH, New Rep and others in tentatively 9 chapters as a lead in for the development of my TC character and yes, it will go around Alpha Squadron! On the miscellaneous section you’ll find a teaser which I wrote back in 2008 for a RPG campaign on facebook.
I feel particularly inspired by this new canon not because of the direction it took, but because it is still a fertile terrain and many doors are open to actually make up for the way events unfolded for the Empire. There is enough chance to write up about Imperial Remnants and place EH there. If done properly… well…
I’m also volunteering to assist our SCO insofar testing our XWA patches. I’d have to managed to get a second XWA install which shouldn’t be hard.
Remember, if anybody has html knowledge, I’d be grateful to receive assistance regarding the report format. I’d pretty much like to upload it on the TC side like everybody else does.
HEADLINES
Emperor's Hammer
∙Recon Officer seeking Recon Office Assistants. The Recon Officer is seeking prospective Command Assistants, these assistants would be working with the Recon Officer in order to further our goals of cutting through New Republic propaganda to let those in the galaxy who still seek peace and stability in the universe know that we have not fallen silent. Recon Officer Assistants would be actively recruiting members into the Emperor's Hammer whether in the TIE Corps or Dark Brotherhood or both, as well as assisting with media projects. Ideally they would have a presence or be able to establish a presence in games, Steam, GOG, Reddit and Star Wars themed social media areas/forums. While it is ideal to want to recruit everywhere that we can, we must be mindful of an area's advertising/recruiting policy. As ROAs you represent the Emperor's Hammer and we hold ourselves to high standards. Knowledge of programs such as XSplit, OBS and Streamlabs OBS would be ideal but not required to apply. Send an e-mail of interest to the RO at tc.milesprower@gmail.com
∙RO Report #2 is at https://tc.emperorshammer.org/showreport.php?nr=2567 but also accessible at the EH website.
∙The Science Officer has brought back the Science Office website at http://sco.emperorshammer.org.
∙Also, our SCO reports that “solution for incompatibility of EHBL and Steam game versions has been foundâ€. (Commander’s note: the differences are subtle, but are still there and might prevent modding which is what our SCO is addressing as we speak)
TIE Corps
∙The Combat Operations Officer, Fleet Admiral Silvius has been awarded the Imperial Cross in recognition of two years of fantastic work as the COO! So, in the words of our Commodore: “Well deserved my friend!â€
ISDII Hammer
∙The Commodore brings us Report #130 at https://tc.emperorshammer.org/showreport.php?nr=2566
∙The Commodore participated in the weekly MP night.
Alpha Squadron
∙CM A. Araujo begins writing his fan fiction. Already submitting a previous work.
∙CM A. Araujo will be assisting our SCO testing XWA patches.
∙We finally got some scores on the Squadron Simulation Supremacy on previous month! (see below)

Weekly Shootouts
As part of an effort to reinvigorate our competitive spirit, I have set up in conjunction with the COO, a special set of competitions for both the Hammer and the TIE Corps as a whole. These are called the Weekly Hammer Shootout and the Weekly Ship Shootout respectively. These Shootouts focus on head to head teamplay with squadrons facing squadrons in X-Wing vs TIE Fighter and X-Wing Alliance.
These competitions share the following goals and rules in common:
∙There must be at least 3 pilots at a minimum for a squadron to be considered present. Only 'present' squadrons will compete formally in the shootouts. Individual pilots may play afterwards in our free sessions held afterwards.
∙Squadron commanders will be queried weekly by the COM to determine attendance and best date/time for the event. The event will not have a specific set date per week to accomodate as many as we can.
∙For the Weekly Ship Shootouts, matchups are Hammer vs Warrior. The winning squadron is the one with the highest culmulative kill count. Individual pilot performance will also be awarded.
∙Weekly Hammer Shootouts will be fought the same way with the individual squadrons of the Hammer. The winning squadron is the one with the highest culmulative kill count and individual pilot performance will be awarded as well.
∙Awards for both consist of IS-GW for top pilot per month, IS-SW for participating member of the winning squadron, possibly a DFC based on performance. Yearly the top pilot gets an IS-PW, IS-GW for the winning squadron, SW for #2 and BW for #3

Here’s the teaser what I told you about, highly fanon as it was for a custom RPG. Hope you enjoy:
Expectation.
Still on the Soul of Darkness’ bridge corridor, Admiral Haakan gazes at the datapad on his hand. The 3rd Fleet was in formation, fully loaded with supplies, troops, vehicles and the 501st was hosted on the additional barracks. General Withey reported his troops at full readiness as well. The ships had their hangars filled with TIE Fighters and Bombers. They’d have jumped to their designated theater of operations weren’t for the late new arrivals, who’d catch up with the rest of the fleet.
Turning to stare at the viewport with a tight, wolfish smile, his thoughts were focused on the plan he devised. He was actually looking a few steps ahead. Haakan’s plan called for a handful of TIE Scouts and TIE Phantoms. Despite having a large fleet he wanted to use as little resources as possible. The extra special TIE Squadrons weren’t on the 3rd Fleet’s original inventory but he was aware they were into full production as part of the imperial conventional arsenal. He didn’t mind requesting those as Imperial Center was quite clear about throwing its full support to his campaign. And if he could score a victory for the Empire with just a tiny percentage of his forces it’d be even better.
Haakan’s own ambition was the see the New Order’s victory over chaos, to see the Empire controlling the galaxy for good. Law, order and progress would bring prosperity and happiness and no one would suffer what he had to suffer on his distant past. Nobody deserved to go through all the pain and grief he went. He ended up so wounded, so vulnerable and void, the only way to move on was to let his own humanity go, to let it die.
But the Empire was there.
The Empire provided him with something bigger to hold onto on those gloomy days. He somehow managed to cut part of his humanity, his feelings and hide much of the rest deep into a personal fortress around his shattered heart. A fortress with an Imperial crest welded on it. At times, he hid so well his feelings people often took him for a non-human. He managed to use a few of his remaining feelings to fuel his own efficiency in duty; anger often provided a powerful boost to his fighting abilities – although it had to be quickly controlled before he’d lose himself into his own animal being.
Focusing on a distant point in the coldness of space, Haakan dug even deeper into his own mind. He had to remember the dreams – and nightmares – of his past to properly ponder the moment. He went beyond supporting the Empire as a soldier, he gave his very soul to his cause and committed to it with the best of his ability since the very moment he started as a lowly crewman up to this moment where he was given command of the Eclipse – ah, yes, the Eclipse, possibly the largest and mightiest ship ever built. Truly a most welcome addition in the eyes of any fleet commander although not his favorite choice for a command ship. Haakan still kept in mind his days as a TIE pilot where precise hits, dodging and evading meant survival. He appreciated the supporting firepower such a vessel could offer yet he’d appreciate as well some maneuvering ability in order to dodge, evade or trick the enemy into some trap or plain outmaneuver it on a possibly ship-to-ship combat. The Eclipse had little of it although it had its sublight engines. “I’ll have to adapt†he whispered.
Turning back his attention to his datapad, Haakan reviews the logistic details. The fleet is only waiting for the arrival of the special TIE squadrons, the Eclipse and the new commander for the Soul of Darkness. Captain Vincenzo was picked for the task. Haakan verified his profile on the database and he was right: Imperial Starfleet sent a capable officer. A young, mildly lacking in experience tho quite capable, loyal, dedicated and enthusiastic officer indeed. The Captain will get it with time, and he’ll acquire a lot of experience with the upcoming campaign Haakan thought.
Glancing at his watch he switched his attention to his watch. Three-Twentyone. The TIEs should be ready to be transferred to the hangar of the Riaza. He addressed the comm officer “Communications, inform the Maw installation I want a status update on the TIE Scouts and TIE Phantoms†“Yes sir,†the officer replied and after a few moments he confirmed they were ready to be transferred. “Signal the Riaza, they may begin receiving the fighters. They are also to expect my shuttle shortlyâ€. His shuttle he thought. Being on space on the backseat of a slow and relatively weak vehicle wasn’t his idea of transferring. He flew many missions in the past to help protect those. Some were successful, some weren’t that successful. Regardless of the trust he had on the Navy’s pilots he was the kind of man who would prefer to do things himself. Specially if its about his own security, about defending himself, never wanted to be the weak spot but a stronghold. Haakan made a mental note about bypassing the protocol and having himself a customized fighter for such cases. As a naval engineer he thought on the design himself but such concepts were put aside when the sensors officer called him “Admiral? Sensors are detecting an incoming vessel. It is the Eclipse sir, 20 degrees on high starboard…it’s huge…†“Indeed, lieutenant, indeed. Communications, hail the Eclipse and inform the fleet they’re to assume escorting positions around it. Navigation: take us above the Eclipse. We’ll departure soon so I want hyperspace courses plotted and ready.†“Right away sir†the other replied.

COMMANDER’S ANALYSIS
Pilots, we should resume activity ASAP.
Once more, if you need any assistance or feel like trying MP lets do it and let’s at least give it a try. As for the missions…well, there’s a lot to fly, especially to get our squadron some extra citations.
I invite you guys to go invite your friends and tell them of the fun, the glory and the women they’ll get (yes, nerdy is sexy nowadays) so, go for it!
I hope this new series of fictions I’ll be writing further motivates our efforts.
As I have been stating, I noticed we have no citations. Well thanks to Kotare we have a few ones. We should be focusing on it. Still pending to create a competition about it.
We also need to get on our foot, on flying shape practicing both coop and PvP for which I’m more than willing for a few sparring rounds with you my fellow Alpha pilots. Contact me on Telegram/Discord so we can work it out! And lets pray I can actually do any MP activity.
SIGNOFF
