NEWS

The Warrior's ship evaluation has been processed and returned to the WarCOM, many thanks to the Warrior's leadership for putting everything together so quickly and formatted in a way that made my job easy! I'm told that the Hammer's ship evaluation is on its way to us from the HamCOM, a term I did not coin because then-MAJ Kroan used it in 2014, after some unavoidable delays.

After a few more solid hours of coding, the fifth volume of The Commodore was published over on http://tc.emperorshammer.org/commodore/volume5/. This being a post-RtF newsletter, it's got all of the graphics and fiction submissions that were made during the competition. Originally the newsletters were intended to be quarterly but it became clear that there wouldn't be a large amount of submissions anytime other than after the Raise the Flag competition, so it's been a once-a-year project. But now that we've got weekly report fiction from the TCCOM, it might be time to take another look at the release schedule.

XvT-TC battle 146: Securing the Line was released recently with a storyline written by then-CM Spiffy the Chicken and the battle itself designed by GN Anahorn Dempsey. I put together a couple of quick competitions to see who can post the highest scores and the best reviews for the new battle, and each of those have about 20 days left on them. Full details for both comps are in the database on competition IDs 3005 and 3006.
