TIE Corps Officer Reports

Well this is it, my final Epsilon CMDR Weekly Squadron Report before I make my way to the Reserves.

It's been a quiet week, with only CPT Polo having flying activity, but I was very happy to receive comms from those of you that could and especially CPT Ric Gravin, who has now been taken off the AWOL list. =)

I was in conversation with LCM Biges earlier this week & he told me about the trouble he has been having with TIE Fighter under DOSBox. He has quite a good spec CPU (Intel E8400 running @ 3.6GHz) but cannot get the game to run at all well @ 640x480 pxls. He needs to run the DOS version as he uses mouse-support, so if anyone can throw some help/ideas his way he (and I) would much appreciate it. Thank you!

I do hope that our SOO will be able to put a suitable CMDR in place for you soon & I know that he will be taking personal charge until that point. I wish him all the best and also to all of you here in Epsilon - keep up the good work and I hope to see you all again some time later in the year! =)

Thank you for all of the well-wishing messages I received over this past week. It means a lot that you think enough of my leadership to let me know your thoughts.

I will be compiling our MSE for February later today and then I will officially be a Reservist. I am away anyway from early tomorrow until March 3rd as I have a short break planned for my birthday. =)

For anyone who is interested, my new PC build goes on, and I have now acquired all the parts other than the mobo itself. I have based it around the Intel Core i7 860 CPU which I will be overclocking & water-cooling. I have an OCZ SSD for my main Windows drive and another TB or so of data space spanned over 2 conventional HD's - I'm hoping it will be up and running sometime in March (probably the latter end).

Well, I guess that's it. No more from me & I shall hand you over to the SOO, HA Frodo March, whom I've no doubt, will have some inspirational things to say to you and hopefully share any wisdom on your next CMDR.

I've had a great time here in Epsilon & I wish you all much luck and enjoyment within the TC in my absence & hope that we may meet-up again in the not-too-distant future.
