In roughly 18 hours, Raise the Flag 2018 will be officially underway. For the whole month of June, http://rtf.tsaunders.net/ will be the center of attention as the whole Corps will be focused on putting more points on the board. The competition's page in the database shows all the different ways to earn points, as will the RtF site once it's updated to reflect this year's rules. LoSs being worth half a point is the most obvious change I noticed, but there might be others. I'll be sending out more about RtF later on, keep an eye out for that.

GN Jarek La'an has returned to active duty for the event, rejoining Theta Squadron. Welcome back!

We also have a new pilot among us fresh from the M/PLT Daedalus, with SL Zeskirleff having been assigned to Sin Squadron. Welcome aboard!

This week, CM Rando was promoted to Captain! Very well deserved, and we look forward to all the new records he'll set under his new rank.

Imperial Storm is wrapping up soon, but first the TCCS and the remnants of the Hammer Task Fleet both decided to test us more more time at Vultur. Led by top performances from GN Pickled Yoda and CPT Rando, we successfully fended off the TCCS and are finishing the fight with the Hammer, deadline is actually today! Assignment is TIE-free 218, and I'm pleased to note that we already have two submissions.

In recognition for reaching one year served with distinction as Sin Squadron's CMDR, LC Hav Antiel was awarded the Silver Star of the Empire. Thank you for all the contributions you make!

The following Warriors were belatedly awarded Commendations of Loyalty during one of the two occasions we award them each year, this one celebrating the anniversary of the Emperor's Hammer:

• CM Aldaric took second place in Week Sixteen of the Trivia Grand Tour and earned an IS-BR
• GN Pickled Yoda was the winner of Week Sixteen of the Trivia Grand Tour and received an IS-SR
• CPT Rando took second place in the TIE section of TCPL Round 10 and was awarded an IS-BW
• CPT Rando won the XvT and XWA sections of TCPL Round 10 and took second place for May, earning him three IS-SWs
• LC Earnim Branet took second place in TCoR Week 21 and received an IS-BW
• LC Earnim Branet was the runner-up in TCoR for May and was awarded an IS-SW
• LC Earnim Branet was the winner of the XvT section of TCPL Round 10 and received an IS-SW
• LC Earnim Branet took second place in TCPL Round 10 and placed third for May, earning him two IS-BWs
