First up, let's take a look at a few awards that were earned for December and 2017:

• LCM Rando took third place in the COO's Star Wars Challenge for December and was awarded an IS-BW
• LCM Rando took second place in the COO's Star Wars Challenge for 2017 and was awarded an IS-GW
• LCM Rando swept Week 51 of TCoP, took first place for December, and took third place for 2017 for two IS-BWs and three IS-SWs
• LC Earnim Branet took second place in MP Co-op Ace of the TIE Corps in December and was awarded an IS-SW
• LC Earnim Branet took second place in TCAI for December and was awarded an IS-SW
• MAJ Hav Antiel received belated awards for Ace of the TIE Corps in September, October, and November: two IS-GWs and an IS-SW
• MAJ Hav Antiel took first place in Ace of the TIE Corps in December and was awarded an IS-GW
• MAJ Hav Antiel took third place in Ace of the TIE Corps for 2017 and was awarded an IS-SW
• COL Mark Schueler took fourth place in Ace of the TIE Corps for 2017 and was awarded an IS-BW
• Your fearless leader won the COO's Star Wars Challenge for December and was awarded an IS-GW
• For his service as Commander of Sin Squadron over the course of 2017, MAJ Hav Antiel was awarded the Bronze Star of the Empire
• For his service as Commander of Theta Squadron over the course of 2017, COL Mark Schueler was awarded the Silver Star of the Empire
• For his service as Commodore of the ISDII Warrior and Commander of Kappa Squadron over the course of 2017, your courageous captain was awarded the Gold Star of the Empire

Warrior Trivia wrapped up Phase Six at the end of 2017. GN Pickled Yoda is once again the Warrior Trivia Champion, having been the most consistently quick and accurate contestant this season! Second and third place went to COL Mark Schueler and MAJ Hav Antiel, who continually showed themselves to be fierce competition as the season went on. Well done, all!

Imperial Storm is back! For those that haven't seen one of these in the past, this is a fleet exercise where the Corps is split into three Task Forces, dropped into positions on a map, and attempt to take down the other two Task Forces. The version the WARD is running this time will be fought using SP battles, which is a big change from previous Imperial Storms. Much more information is available on http://crimson-net.org/WARD/IS/.

New for 2018 are Escort Flight competitions here on the Warrior designed to reward our most consistent pilots. Each month you flight your way to the top four from the Ship/Wing, you'll earn an IS-BW or a higher award based on how many months you've reached the top four. Links to the comps for the full details are in the next section.

TCoP has a slight change from last year: missions are now assigned every two weeks, giving pilots a bit more time to hone those high scores. Additionally, the TIE Corps Pilot League is similar to TCoP but includes a handicap calculation to make things a more level playing field.

With December behind us, it's evaluation time again! I have an evaluation from Sin so far, and I'm looking forward to getting the other two soon so that I can combine everything and get the ship evaluation sent up to the bosses.
