Firstly, I wish to
apologise for not listing the Iron Star medal awards in WSR#14. It seems they
had been awarded by the TAC but I received NO email verification (and, in fact,
I still haven't...). Anyway, they're listed this time around =)
It's been another
good week activity-wise, with 4 of us flying, though I'd like to see more.
Leading by example,
our 2 new FL's have both updated their Uniforms (again, I'd like to see more
of you do this...), flown several missions & sent in their FL-Reports on-time.
Well done to you both on a great start - keep up the good work! =)

In Closing:
This month's 'Flier of the Month' is going well with 3 pilots
entering Pilot Files already! Glad to see our 2 new FL's joining the fray...
I obviously cannot enter, so I've been occupying my time with
getting hold-of and installing both 'X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter' AND it's 'Balance
of Power' expansion. I had trouble initially with XvT (though BOP worked fine
straight-off) in that I could not 'see' any ships although everything else worked
fine. Seems that it was the 3D renderer that was having problems as I had 'updated'
to v1.14 and then installed BOP. Of course this isn't necessary as BOP updates
XvT automatically. So after an uninstall & fresh install (this time without
the 1.14 patch) I can use both fine (eventhough, strangely, I can enable 3D
Hardware in BOP, but have to disable it in XvT, oh well...).
Please remember that this is your squadron and the TC
is supposed to be fun. I am aware that over time several of you seem to be slowly
'drifting' away, in that I am hearing less and less from you. If there's anything
that I can do to make your participation more interesting, please let me know.
I don't wish to start processing AWOLs come the end of January, so I'd like
to see more participation from as many of you as possible.
Don't forget we also have the 'Student of the Month' Comp running.
No takers as yet, but I know that LT Caydin Makarin is looking to take an IWATS
Course soon.
In fact, the TC has many Competitions running at the moment,
as well as the soon-to-start TIE Golf. Good to see Epsilon Pilots signing-up!=)
