Well 2010 is here & I'm hoping for a positive attitude from us all in the EH during the coming months to help us move forward & start growing once more.

Unsurprisingly, during the holiday period, activity has been low, but we have seen some flying and I'm hoping now that our R&R break is over we will see activity rise once more.

Now, you should have noticed that this very morning we have had 2 new FL's taking up their posts in Flights II & III. Please join me in congratulating LCM Halk Knight & LT Caydin Makarin on their Position Promotions, I'm sure they'll do us proud over the coming weeks/months. Please also join me in thanking CM Dunta Polo for his sterling service as our out-going FL & XO! =)

We will have the 2 'ongoing' Competitions running again for January, where the top flier & the top student will be rewarded with an IS-BW/BR. No IWATS were taken this month by any of our pilots, but CM Dunta Polo is awarded the IS-BW for his flying efforts, well done also to LCM Halk Knight who also put in some flying time.

I am also looking forward to the Epsilon website taking shape in the not-too-distant future. =)

In Closing:

Good news this week is that the TAC's back! We've now had all outstanding Pilot Files processed, so if you think you're missing one (although I've been through them all and I'm sure they're all done...) then please let me know and I will contact HA Dempsey.

Also, magically, the Science Office website has come back on-line. So no reason not to download some ship-patches and have a stab at one of the newer missions in the Compendium.

Just to let you know that I managed to complete all the objectives I set-out for myself in the last WSR - I managed to fly enough to clinch 7th place in 2009's Pilot Kill Board and attain the FCHG Rank of 'Legionnaire'.

CM Dunta Polo had an amazing run, finishing second, with a massive 1128 points & gaining a well-earned IS-GW! (BTW, congrats go to COL Conker Blackwood of Beta Sqn. for his 1st Position and a well-deserved IS-PW!). Other notable Epsilon/ex-Epsilon Pilots for the year were LC Kenath Zoron who finished with 321 points and 8th place & our newest member, LCM Halk Knight, who just managed to pip CPT Ard Royber to 15th position on the Board with 129 points. Well done all..!

Now, in the coming weeks we have TIE Golf upon us again. Unfortunately I missed it the last time around, so was happy to sign-up for this one. The idea's an easy one; you play a TIE free mission (1 mission=1 hole) scoring as little as possible & I believe the TAC sets the 'par' for each 'hole', several missions later and the lowest score overall wins the comp, easy! MANY shinnies to be won!! See HERE for more details and to Sign-up (I expect all Epsilon pilots that own TIE-Fighter to sign-up for this one as the time needed is minimal), so let's see some enthusiasm! (Starting with our 2 new FL's...).

December MSE & MoC's have gone off, so hopefully again we shall have rewards. We all start with a clean-slate again for January, so let's see some activity that can be rewarded. =)
