Firstly, let me apologise
for no report last week. I have been working away again and we have also
been waiting for some Squadron news and activity.
So, onto the report:
With the sad loss
of CPT Ard Royber to the Reserves, and the decision of CM Dunta Polo to step-down
from his FL position for the time-being due to RL pressures, we are without
any FL's within the Squadron =(
This, though is not
the full story, as I have approached two current pilots (one with previous FL
experience, and one who will be new to the post) who have accepted my invitation
to fill these roles on a provisional basis to see how they get on (I though,
have full confidence in the abilities of them both....). Our only problem seems
to be that there is a lack of Admiralty members around to officially approve
the Position Promotions (I suspect LC Prower to have them both locked away in
Gamma somewhere. Either that or they're lost in some drunken stupour!).
I'm sure though that
all will be well again soon and our squad will have a full-compliment of Flight
Leaders. Watch this space... =)
Sadly we also still
seem to be without a TAC due to injury-leave, so my apologies if, like me and
many others, you are awaiting
a BSF to be manually processed. I'm sure normal service will be resumed as soon
as she is well enough to return. Get well soon...
Oh, and on a side-note.
It has been noticed by several of us that for a couple of weeks or so, the Science
Office web-site has been down, so no downloading of patches held therein, sadly.
If anyone knows the cause I'd be happy to hear it?

In Closing:
Another good month for Epsilon goes well rewarded.
I know we're all on a bit of a lull now due to the forthcoming
holidays, no pressure for activity as pilots may take a well-earned rest, but
remember there's still our 3 Competitions running and therefore medals
to be won for probably very little effort!
Our Pilot of the Month Comp is being lead by CM Dunta Polo at
this time with 25 points with LCM Halk Knight second on 5 points. Unfortunately,
it seems that I will have to scrap the idea of 'double-points' for high-scores
as there's no TAC around at the moment to verify these...
Our other 2 Competitions have no entries, so as I said, easy
medals! =)
Just to let you know that I'm away from tomorrow (24th) until
December 28th, so any pilot files or communications will have to wait until
I return. Myself, I'm hoping to fly enough between the 28th and 31st to move
into 7th place in the 2009 Pilot Kill Board and reach the FCHG rank of Legionnaire
(I just hope that there's someone around to BSF my files..!).
