I'm
not dead.
I've been in communication, also keeping things coordinated behind the
scenes even while the deadly launch double whammy of a new iOS and new
product lines at my workplace created an endless phase of
work-school-sleep (rinse repeat). Fortunately with that over and done
with, reports are going to be back on schedule, with some video reports
factored in too. I'll still be out on the weekly meetings on Sunday and
the Saturday combat event but if shift bids work out (new schedules
starting early November) I might be back in those.
As a reminder I'm generally off on Monday, Thursday and Friday with
some exceptions. Monday I'm at college from 2:00 PM-3:50 PM (Eastern
Time). Friday I'm at tabletop usually around 7-8 PM. Every other day is
a work day from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM ET (with the possibility of getting
extended at the end by long calls, egh :()
As a bit of a recap of major September events, we had to send Commander
Frenzy Lekvoda and Lieutenant Commander Jarion Renalds from Alpha
Squadron to the Reserves. Hopefully they make their way back to us!
Delta took Squadron Simulation Supremacy once again, with Alpha in
second and the consolidated Crystal Pepsi-New Coke Epsilon (Beta +
Epsilon combined) in third.
Regarding Blacksmith:

Medals have been submitted to the SOO same day today, so they're
awaiting approval! Another stellar month for Delta.
General Dempsey also picked up a Gold Star of the Empire for her
efforts in September, along with a Palpatine Crescent for Colonel
Aznable of Alpha and an Imperial Security Medal for General Clark of
Delta. Medal of Communication advancements were made too.
Both Star Wars Empire At War and Star Wars Battlefront II got
multiplayer updates to get them out of the dated GameSpy based system
that previously needed GameRanger. Hopefully that will get some
multiplayer activity up and interest. If possible, see about recruiting
possibilities on those platforms.
