While it has been a little while since most
of these events happened early in the week, they are still since the last
report!
First, GN Plif was
selected to succeed me as Warrior Commodore for his second tour of
duty as Warrior COM! Congratulations
to now AD Plif! Plif was a mentor for
me as a Commodore, and I know he will do a great job.
GN Jarek La’an
was also selected as the new WARD! He proposed the position in the first place
years ago, and now he has a chance to be it!Â
La’an will be the leader of anything fiction
related in the TC. That included
fiction comps and this new map campaign we are trying to get off the
ground. Congrats La’an!
Also, Rando joined the TC after flying with
us after the meeting last week. He has also already been promoted to LT! So, welcome to the fleet, and congrats on
your promotion Rando!Â
We also gave out some larger awards last
week! Our outgoing TCCOM got a Gold
Star of the Empire for his excellent activity and work as TCCOM over the past
few month. VA Silvius and I also got
Silver Stars of the Empire for our activity in July.Â
More recently, Plif posted the
newsletter #4 and all contributors were awarded LoA’s. See below
for award quantities

Weekly Meeting MP: You
heard it here first folks!
We will have an official, live MP competition after
next weeks’ meeting! If there are
enough people (4 each), we will have two separate platforms, XWA and XvT and
separate medals for each. Players play 8 min matches by either agreeing
who hosts, or hosting 4 min and 4 min and totaling the scores. They
take their own screenshots and send them to me. We choose matches in a
round robin style where everyone plays everyone once, as long as there is
time. Add up standings as we go, and if there is a TIE (haha), we have a TIE breaking match to determine the
winner.
Depending on attendance, DFC to each winner (IS-SW
if DFC requirements not met, but still at least 3 pilots), IS-BW to 2nd
place.
Craft choice, start distance, etc
should be agreed on by both pilots in a match, but if they can’t be agreed
on, they should be TIE interceptors, no missiles, no beam, no
countermeasures, starting 3 km apart, in open space. Collisions should
be on.
The RS is invited as
well. As long as RS is there, we’ll just count total victories for TC pilots vs total
for RS pilots to declare a winner for bragging rights!
