Epsilon WSR #6
Pilots of
Epsilon.
Unfortunately, this
week has seen RL hitting us all hard. On my return to work after my LoA I was
inundated and spent long hours playing 'catch-up'. Tuesday, for instance saw
me start work at 9am not to return home again until after 11pm!! And I know
that I am not the only one thus effected. All squads, the whole of the TC and
even the EH are seemingly 'riding out the storm' of inactivity due to RL academic
years etc...
It doesn't help that
colds & flu are amongst us once more and I, amongst others, have been nursing
a head-cold for these last few days =(
Things are slow now,
but there's plenty up-ahead for us to look forward to with our TCCOM looking
towards the next installment of our current plot-line and a new competition
to go along with it... Stay tuned!

In Closing:
I have had several enquiries about Epsilon Squad Competitons,
and it's a fair point, as we do need some impetus to keep us ticking along.
I am working on 3 ideas at the moment that I hope you can all enjoy and join-in
with. I am holding-back at the moment though due to the low comms activity and
high reports of RL-issues. Once we're back on a steady track, say in a week
or two, these will be released.
As for graphics, please remember that a patch AND banner are
needed. I know that COL Kit is working on a Squad Uniform patch & LC Nelson
has submitted some banner ideas but that doesn't mean that no-one else can,
so please, if you have a gfx-idea, submit it to me..!
Just to give you all a quick insight, though; there will be
a 'Google Trawling' exercise; a flight-related fiction comp and a High-score
flying comp - maybe others too! Let me know what you think...
For the moment though I am starting to run a monthly 'Top Student'
Comp where the pilot with the most IWATS points gets an IS-BR. Points will be
awarded thus: 2 for every course completed at <90%; 3 for a completed course
at >90% and 5 for a completed course at 100%. Good luck!
Monthly Evaluations and MoC's have been sent off for the month
of September, so expect to see some medal-awards soon! ;-)
Let's see if we can't step-up the comms a little so I can use
that as an indication of your ability to be active in our competitions to come...
