-==Intro/CMDR Rant==-
An eventful week for some good but mostly not so good events. On the good side, I hit my one-year anniversary on time in service as Beta Squadron CMDR. It does feel like I just took over very recently as CMDR so it just shows how fast time flies. Hopefully the next year will be even better than this one has been!
Now for the bad news. First, my squadron fiction competition came to an end and alas, there were no submissions. Which is fine, that just means there are no budding fiction writers amongst us. Well, don't say I never gave you the opportunity to prank me!
Second, it looks like a number of us were beat with the AWOL stick. We have lost LT's Calthranus, Palharris, Synthroth and Aetius; they've been declared inactive and/or have transferred the the M/FRG Phoenix. Sad to see our ranks depleted so much but hopefully they'll make their way back to us.
Now, on to the Tale of the Tape.

* LT's Kryysta Calthranus, Varis Palharris, Syntroth and Flavius Aetius have been transferred from Beta to either the M/FRG Phoenix or been declared inactive. Good luck to all of them and hopefully they'll find their way back to us when they're ready to be active once more.
* My squadron competition (Is Hazing Still a Thing?) came to an end with no submissions. So no Iron Star to hand out.
* No winner at our Target Identification competition, as I didn't receive any entries. Hopefully we'll get some entries this week!
* At this point there is no one in the lead for Pilot of the Month, as there hasn't been any activity in the squadron this month. It looks like all it'll take to win this month is a few emails or a mission flown. Just under two weeks left in the month!

Beta Squadron Pilot of the month
March Standings:
1. Vacant - ? points
Target Identification
As a STRIKE squadron, all pilot in Beta Squadron must have the ability to identify a target based on what is sometimes partial info from the Intelligence Division. Each week in the WSR, a picture of a particular target will be included in that WSR. The first member of the squadron to reply back with the correct name of the target (which can be a person, ship or location) wins an IS-BR. Overall winner for the month will get an IS-SR.
To participate, log into the
TC site, and click on the link below. The database will track how long from when you first clicked the link below to when you submitted the answer, so there won't be any advantage to whomever completes it in the closest time to the WSR being sent, but whomever completes it in the shortest amount of time correctly.

* TIE Corps Propaganda Video: Create a video for the purposes of recruiting new blood into the TC! Video will be uploaded to COL Impulse's YouTube channel. Can have any content (gameplay, screenshots, posters, custom rendering, etc.) that you wish. Submissions should be uploaded to YouTube and the links emailed to COL Impulse. Iron Stars are up for grabs!
