A quiet week this week in Beta Squadron. As a reminder, our squadron Fiction competition ends this Wednesday! So far I don't have any submissions but you still have a few more days to put something together. I'm looking forward to some great last-minute submissions!
So far, no one has been participating in the Target Identification competition for about a month. I'll keep them coming but if no one participates by the end of this month, I'll probably cancel that competition as it's apparently not what folks are looking for. If you do want to participate but are having trouble either logging into the TIE Corps site or with the link itself, please let me know so I can be of assistance!

* At this point there is no one in the lead for Pilot of the Month, as there hasn't been any activity in the squadron this month. Hopefully that means that folks are merely waiting like an apex predator for RtF which is somehow around the corner!

Beta Squadron Pilot of the month
March Standings:

Is Hazing Still a Thing?
Unbelievably, GN Coranel Both will have served as BetaCMDR for 1 year as of March 15th. To "commemorate" this event, you are invited to write a fiction to haze said CMDR (as we can't let this achievement go to his head). No minimum or maximum word count; simply detail the adventures in hazing the Squadron CMDR and
submit your entries to him by March 15th. Winner gets an IS-BR!
Target Identification
As a STRIKE squadron, all pilot in Beta Squadron must have the ability to identify a target based on what is sometimes partial info from the Intelligence Division. Each week in the WSR, a picture of a particular target will be included in that WSR. The first member of the squadron to reply back with the correct name of the target (which can be a person, ship or location) wins an IS-BR. Overall winner for the month will get an IS-SR.
To participate, log into the
TC site, and click on the link below. The database will track how long from when you first clicked the link below to when you submitted the answer, so there won't be any advantage to whomever completes it in the closest time to the WSR being sent, but whomever completes it in the shortest amount of time correctly.

* TCCOM Report 100: Write a short (500-800 words long) story for the introduction of the TCCOM's 100th report! Submit your entry to Woody!
* TIE Corps Propaganda Video: Create a video for the purposes of recruiting new blood into the TC! Video will be uploaded to COL Impulse's YouTube channel. Can have any content (gameplay, screenshots, posters, custom rendering, etc.) that you wish. Submissions should be uploaded to YouTube and the links emailed to COL Impulse. Iron Stars are up for grabs!
